I will - definitely. In fact I’d already filmed one but a combination of getting some rules wrong and some poor filming meant it wasn’t good enough to be shown.

The Esoteric Order of Gamers I've played this many times and the rules are so simple that I misinterpreted many of them because I'd skim over them and think, "Yeah, ok, I've got it." Only to go back later and discover I was doing something totally wrong!

Hey, how soon are you going to post a replay? I have been playing this game almost non-stop since receiving it a couple of weeks ago. I would dearly love to see you treat this game with your usual entertaining style. I kinda can't believe you haven't done something already. Is there some issue? Did you decide you didn't like the game for some reason, or is it just a simple case of so many games and so little time?

Mike, We'll definitely be doing a battle report of this game late next month. I did film one the last time my gaming buddy Will visited, but it wasn't up to our usual high standards so I haven't posted it. I can assure you I love the game and I'm really looking forward to posting an entertaining video about it. Hang on a bit longer! :)

The Esoteric Order of Gamers The game is deceptively simple, but has some deep strategy. The cards create opportunities and the action dice channel those options. Where would you say the "South" side of the board is (where it says Beorn is to enter)? Some say it is the long bottom of the board opposite the Eastern Spur. I maintain it is the narrow side opposite the Front Gate where all the Dark Player's mustering boxes are located.

Mike Strand Depending on which version of which map you're looking at, either side could be the South side.

Mike Strand I've only had a chance to play once so I'm not good for rules questions, sorry! Boardgamegeek is the best place to ask.

@Mike Strand Well, think of Lord of the Rings. Dale and the Woodland Realm are south of the Lonely Mountain, so therefore the south side of the map would be the bottom.
