I miss my Papa (Grandpa). I wish he was still here on earth. I remember him telling me about a simpler time. Where you could keep your doors unlocked. Where they could walk safely down the streets. Where it was a community taking care of each other. Where it was a village raising a child.

I was 3 yrs old when both of my grandpa's passed away. One from a heart attack, and the other from a tragic farming accident. But i have stories and photos from their time, i even have copies of his farming inventory, sales of his lifestock, all in his own handwriting. The stories are all about how they were great men, working hard to lead their families through the hard times and making it the best of times they could. I would have really liked to have known both of them. Thank you Wynonna and Naomi for sharing such a powerful and meaningful story!

Love how this person put all the words on like this instead of one line at a time. Such a good song and good words! We all need to go back to the simple, good old days days! Virtue, integrity, honesty, loyalty, prayers, etc...

This reminded me of my grandpa. He was actually my preacher that adopted me as his granddaughter when my bio grandpa walked out and left. When he died, I felt like I lost the only person that i could talk to and he loved to hear me sing songs to him at church. His favorite song was " I can't even walk without you holding my hand" by Cody Johnson. He loved "I have been blessed" by The Rochester/ Matthew Traditions and "Dancing in the sky" by Dani and Lizzy.

Wish we could go back to the good ole days. This song surely fits the world we live in today. And sad to say it likely won't get any better. Good Lord please watch over everyone who is struggling and help them in anyway they may need to be helped. This song is one of my all time favorites.

One of the sweetest sounds from my childhood is listening to my mom and sisters sing along to the Judds driving to our lake cabin to water ski...im blessed to have that and grateful that i grew up in the 80's-90's when hip hop had hop and country music had boot stomp..

My grandpa ( I called him Papa ) passed away a little over a year ago. Never got to walk me down the aisle (he was my only TRUE father figure) Never got to see me truly succeed in life & all he ever wanted was to know I was okay & that I MADE it in life. I would give ANYTHING just to talk to him one last time & tell him how far I’ve come): Love you Papa ❤

My grandfather did something I'd always found fascinating. In his lifetime he saw the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk and later watched man set foot upon the moon. I was born in Los Angeles. My grandfather brought my mother and the rest of the family to L.A. from Pittsburg during The Great Depression. My uncle was an amateur photographer and took pictures the entire trip.

This song, is actually a Tribute, to the many broken homes across this country. America, where ever we decide to put our Hope to get this ship righted WE must 1st begin with what the first chorus in the lyrics are telling U.S.> bow Our heads to Pray. II Chronicles 7-14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It's been less then a month now since he's been gone and I miss him every single day 😭💞 my papa was one of my best friends and biggest supporters in life and life just feels empty without him now. I will yell it from the rooftops PUT THE BOTTLE DOWN because it always takes some of the best people too soon he was only 72 and that just didn't feel like enough time being 25 and losing him. The medical system here's recovering alcoholic and they literally throw them in the trash and don't give them the care they deserve 😢
