I appeared in this movie and did all the driving for Hoyt Axton. So much fun. We were really hauling ass in the riverbed scene. HB was really good to me. RIP.

What a great chronicle of the times! Mr. Halicki was very talented and creative. I also admired how he was successful in real life just like the characters he played. A great American!

Jay Bouki That year Eldorado still had the 368 carburetor that s y ir flew I believe that was a 79 in 80 n 81 they put the 4100 fuel injection engine that sucked problems n slow ,with n aluminum block they were horrible, so u want a 78 or 79 Eldorado not n 80 n up all of them after 1980 had the 4100

So glad to see this flick WITHOUT that shitty FAKE SCORE ( the makers should get THAT banned ) and WITH the Hoyt Axton music restored. The two TRAILERS were a cool bonus too, especially Hey Good Looking. Good job!

Thanks for the upload. I also have the VTC release tape, but mine does not have the trailer for Hey Good Looking at the beginning, only the one for Dangerous Traffic (although it is cut slightly differently).

Eldorados from these years are best with either olds 350 fuel injected or the 368 caddy motor 4bbl or fuel injected. Otherwise it’s best to pull out the 4.1 or diesel and use an olds 455 or caddy 425, 472 or even the 500. Only thing is the trans would need to be beefed up to take the extra power.

With original audio track! Refreshing! This is how it should be seen. The tunes are exclusive to this movie with Hoyt Axton supplying several of them. Thank you so very much. I do not like the DVD version at all.

@@danhansson409 My reply is already 5 years old? Wow! Have you seen them? This one and the first one, "Gone in 60 Seconds"? They couldn't get the music signed off for either, so they made some lame music that stays going steady throughout the entire movie and even tampered with sound effects to alter it from the original.

I have tried syncing the original audio (ripped from VHS) with the remastered film (from DVD) and they don't sync. Seems that the new version is a different cut of the film.

Does Caddy s we're fast when they still had the 368 carbrator they flew, until u know they keep something good enough alone switch the card to the 4100 digital fuel injection they were one of the worst motor to come out of DETROIT

Does old Elderado s before they made the 4100 engine had the 350 4 barrel s in them GREAT! Cars after 81 Cadillac engine s went down hill with the 8 .6.4 n 4100 computerized Bullshit they sucked!!!

@@socalltd I did some research. We filmed this on Vermont north of 177th in Gardena in the E/W canal..

@@SurfCityVideo I'll look it up, the entrance ramp to the canal at 12:47 I have not seen or the two bridges he goes under. I know the part where the jump is and the canal widens and turns to rock bed by Vermont and Artesia.
