OUR LITTLE MOVIE COMES TO THE END. ROBERT KAMEN, THE MOVIE'S ILLUSTRIOUS AUTHOR AND INSPIRATION FOR MR MIYAGI, APPEARS IN A CAMEO AS KRESSE. HE WOULD HAVE PLAYED THE PART, BUT WAS UNAVAILABLE. PAT JOHNSON'S COMMANDING PRESENCE AS THE REFEREE GAVE GREAT CREDENCE TO THE KARATE SEQUENCES. BRUCE MALMUTH, THE RING ANNOUNCER , IMBUED HIS CHARACTER WITH ENTHUSIASM AND FUN. THE LONG HOURS OF PRACTICE AND REHEARSAL THAT RALPH AND THE OTHER ACTORS DEVOTED TO THIS SEQUENCE PAID OFF.
THEY MADE IT ALL COME ALIVE.

Of course he would have destroyed Daniel, he was a wimp . Johnny Lawrence was robbed of his title because of 1 an illegal kick and 2 Daniel shouldn’t have even been in the tournament because he wasn’t a black belt or any belt, Myagi lied him through it and robbed the belt for him.

This movie is as much a part of my youth as anything else in my life. MY best friend Adam was such a fan at his wedding one of the groomsmen stopped him before he walked down the isle and said, "Sweet the Leg. and spurred an impromptu reenactment of the the no mercy scene. Honestly, watch the movie two to four times a year. Something about it just encapsulates the 80's and finding these rehearsal vids was just another way to go back into something I love so much. Amazing, I'm on the edge of my seat rooting for Daniel just as I am when watching the real movie. I think Daniel's right up there with Luke Skywalker in Star Wars when it comes to movie characters that you root for from the bottom of your heart, desperately want to see win their final challenge and feel extremely thrilled and satisfied when they do. The expanded scene of Miyagi fixing his leg in the film is sheer screenwriting brilliance, a perfect way to help remind us of Miyagi's involvement.
