Watching this now, Feb. 20, 2023, and I have to literally pause .26:42 into this interview because I can no longer keep my excitement! Ms. Nichols and the things she’s been sharing, has had me saying “ YES! YES! YES!” Her words resonated so much in me and my heart is bursting with so much joy. I am in this phase now that she calls “hunting” and I am so grateful to have found this video and this channel. ❤️ I am so excited!

I love you Lisa! You’ve inspired me to want to tell my story! I want to help others so much! I come from the projects, a drug addiction home, abuse, rape, and was in a 12 year domestic abusive relationship while also going through addiction, brokenness and depression. Now, I’m in such an incredible place! I need to tell others my story and inspire and help them to become better, happier, healthier versions of themselves 👏🏽

Me too! This is what a lot of people just don't get. We cling to our small, infinitesimal differences and we forget that those "others" are REAL. You can touch them! They can touch you! When I approach people, no matter what color of their skin or past or culture, with LOVE in my heart for them... Woo! They just love me right back. "Everything just wanna be loved." Oh I love her. And I LOVE here definition of greatness. "For giving yourself permission to aluminate your light so brightly that if someone is in your presence, and they might be in a dark moment in life, that your light brightens their life, just long enough for them to see their own possibility again. Greatness is about being willing to be used to your highest level of possibility even when it's uncomfortable, even when it's unpopular, even when you're alone, even when its inconvenient, you're still willing to lead." Amazing. Thanks Lewis. Love you brother.

The relationship in your life determine the quality of your life. There are three types of relationship: life given relationship it reminds you to keep going, lifetime relationship, purposeful relationship. My job is not to rescue anybody. My job is to be the light.

I love the abundance cup and saucer analogy. Some people are give give give... and it's wonderful, but not at the expense of using your cup to supply the good and generosity. Use the saucer. Fill your cup up to overflowing - then give.

Wow??? What a beautiful expression of Joy, Expansion and Potential this woman radiates. Just goes to show you that it doesn't matter where you come from, what matters is how you express that which can't be held within and must be shared* Be the light that we all, so don't be afraid to shine>>>

Your words have really helped me feel more positive and motivated to improve my relationship with my nearly 22 year old son...we get along well, but have not felt very close in a long while. I asked him to rate our relationship last week and then had a nice conversation. It was a nice way to let him know our relationship is important to me, and it helped re-invigorate my motivation to do well as an example for him and to be able to take better care of myself so I can be more available to him.

The Bible doesn't say, "Money is the root of all evil." It says, "THE LOVE of money is the root of all evil." (1 Timothy 6:10).

She knows that and so do we, BUT in HER experience, like a LOT of ppl in our culture, it gets interpreted as money being evil, thus fostering a negative perspective being associated with having money. We know what the scripture actually says, but she's speaking on what our minds turn it into, if you can understand that.

Agree with you, Lori, that is an important distinction. However, as Tesha Miller pointed out, far too often money itself is demonized, especially by certain high-control religious groups. The Jehovah's Witnesses (of whom I have personal experience) are so stridently anti-money and anti-materialism (at least for the rank and file members), that their leaders strongly discourage attending college, university, working overtime, improving one's education for promotions at work, and more. The Jehovah's Witness leaders even subtly discourage saving for one's retirement, as that is viewed as not believing that the apocalyptic "Armageddon" is imminent. At the same time that their leaders discourage being financially well-off, they also cry for more and more donations from their often poverty-stricken members. Such sickening hypocrisy!

I agree with Tesha Miller, and because many of us black people grew up spiritually rich, but materially poor, that lifestyle was taken as "Money is the root of all evil," and a part of the awakening is to understand the truth about that scripture.

I watched about 7-8 talks/interviews by Lisa Nichols during the last couple of days and really enjoyed them, but couldn't help but notice the significant degree of overlap between the stories, content and insights shared across these different talks. What's really great about your interview Lewis, is that you are going beyond these stories and investigate the behind the curtain thought processes, actions and behaviours. We get to a new, deeper level of insight about her journey thanks to your skill at interviewing. I think you are really good at asking questions that go deeper, and would only encourage you to continue doing this, even amplify it. Great content! I'll definitely check out your other stuff now. Thanks!
