I'm a writer. KZfaq recommended this to me. This is not at all what I was expecting. However, I watched it start to finish. Good general advice, and a pretty good vid. Well done, my dude.

I really enjoyed this. It was a good reminder to bring a level of intentionality to my reading, but at the same time, embrace those moments where you simply want to read for the pure joy of it. I find content will often 'stick' when my mind is already warm to something I'm working on, and those are the lightbulb moments because my subconscious catches it and my creativity really ramps up. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos, excellent as always!

I'm aware that I am derelict in replying to this review but grant me leniency and consider my comment. Part of my card magic repertoire that I am fluid and skilled at includes: top palm, center palm, bottom palm, diagonal palm shift, double lift, false shuffles, false cuts, The Ambitious Card, Triumph, etc. BUT like the old saying, "Jack of all Trades Master of None," I am good but not great. It's the "pencil miles" or the "card sleight miles" that I need. After watching your review I decided to dedicate more time in practice and I have already improved considerably. THANK YOU JEFF!

Great talk. I think "pencil miles" is more accurately because you are literally moving an object along in a straight line again and again. But I get the picture. My mileage seems to vary - long journeys, short trips, sometimes side trips to unwanted destinations.

Love this show! I love book miles. My friends get a kick out of comparing everything in book money. I base magic books on the average price of $100. So if I have to buy a new hvac, it cost me 150 magic books. Now I have book miles.

I love that as I progress and plan to make my professional debut my mind is already expanding to books I wouldn’t have ever considered originally. So interesting to see where our journeys take us and what topics will take our fancy down the road!

Just curious to hear what others think. I couple of years ago I wanted to fill out my book collection and make sure I had most of the classic "beginner" texts. I didn't have Henry Hay's Amateur Magician's Handbook so I ordered it but haven't read it yet. To those who have read it what did you think about it? Not looking for a comparison to other books just specific thoughts on this one.

If I was being exiled to Pluto and could take only one magic book out of the hundreds in my library, I would choose TAMH.
