I'm glad that he is sick of his music. It shows that he is always evolving and trying to improve. He knows he can keep doing better and keep excelling in what he does. I guess Im just not personally a big fan of nepotism in the industry. something about it just rubs me the wrong way and i cant connect with the music because its not authentic by any means and just sounds bland soulless and like its churned out of some industry factory that shits out these kind of one hit wonders every year exclusively to make money off of them. theres no artistry or personality, it comes off as vague superficial background noise to play at a party or in the background of a Target while you shop lol. Not to say those artist arnt talented, but imo that kid and artists like him is the very definition of "selling out" and i just dont vibe with it 😅

Yes, Justin Bieber gets instant clicks, but Justin Bieber does not cause the song to be number 1 for 3 months just because of his name. You know what draws people to mainstream music, and this song in particular? The hook. Charli puth and Laroi developed the hook and melody, Bieber hopped on the song because he saw the potential. @@iSKYmusic a songwriter isn’t someone who just writes lyrics, a songwriter COMPOSES a melody and then writes LYRICS over it. A person who only writes lyrics is called a LYRICIST. If you listen to the intro melody, it’s quite similar to the 1st verse, therefore Charlie must be credited as a songwriter and co producer.

@@savlounge3889 what are you even saying? Charli puth and others created the instrumental, puth specifically created the synth melody. Laroi wrote his lyrics and the hook. In this video he’s saying it’s one of his favorite songs he’s made.

Cos when we think we get nothing done, when we do, it all comes together, we may like the vibe the song brings but not necessarily the words and that's usually most songs for an artist cause we've rapped, sang it so many times that it doesn't hit us the way it hits you, you experience the fun behind listening to it why we don't
