That's because it's a pre-recorded vocal. It's been cleaned up, compressed, and has a multitude of other effects on it. I'm not saying that he's not talented, he's very talented. But this isn't a live vocal performance

It doesn't. The key and many elements were rearranged because he can't hit the notes, and live auto tune isn't as easy to use for correction as studio auto tune, which is done after the fact. Live auto tune is use simultaneously and the singer usually sings within a specified narrower range that is more comfortable for their voice along to a track in their earpiece.

I'm gonna leave this comment up anyway for people who actually do believe you can't autotune in live shows.* Imagine being this naive and uninformed. Live autotune has been a thing for a long time, even for live audiences. And now that "live" performances aren't done in front of an audience, they're even post-produced, so it's almost like a studio recording. If you can't hear the autotune in this, your ears have been damaged. But it's not that autotune takes away from it. This genre needs autotune despite whether or not the artist needs it.

@@Who-nu4ci not always is it used for artistic effect, but rather to cover up singing deficits. Not always is it something the artist chooses either. Many times it's the audio engineer who can have quite a bit of creative input on how things sound and come out. We tend to give more credit to the singer then what they really responsible for doing. But it's easy to do because they are the face, even if they aren't really the talent.

@@brady5657 I was about to say that lmao, I absolutely love him as an artist but there's a LOT of autotune on this live 😂 But we shouldn't consider autotune as bad thing. I mean it's become such a big part of almost any vocal artist nowadays that it's a tool almost as much as instruments, mixing softwares... Of course, performances using autotune are very different from singers who perfectly master their voice and can do I incredible things with it, covering a large range of notes etc... It's just two different categories of musics/songs and they can't be compared. So shaming a good artist who honestly uses autotune doesn't really makes sense anymore.
