They would sometimes continue a joke where it wouldn't be historically accurate but when that happened, Rattus would hold up a sign saying something like "that's just silly". So if they did stretch the truth for a joke, you'd know.

the cast of horrible histories recently made a comedy about a group of ghosts from different time periods haunting an old and run down stately home bequeathed to a woman who along with her husband moves in. they later have a film crew come in to help pay for the refurbishment and repair, to make an historical drama. its called "ghosts" and its very good. it can be found on most streaming apps.

I’ve listened multiple times and it looks like ‘Thick Whig’ relating to the shadow cabinet party of parliament at the time, the Whigs. I can see the actor doing the ‘th’ with his mouth. But yes it does sound like Dick Wig initially. As mentioned adults probably enjoyed this more than kids- and given the male cast a lot of at home mothers 😍

Horrible Histories is absolutely BRILLIANT!! You have to check it out there's plenty of clips on KZfaq, or get a VPN and watch it on Netflix UK. Seriously well worth a watch🙂

The Horrible Histories books were mandatory reading in my History lessons in Secondary School. Yep my History teacher was awesome! Thoroughly enjoyed the TV show too.

I doubt you'll see this as old as it is. But Karl and the Fact Fiend crew are always pumping out vids. They're hilarious and entertaining and great reaction content. They also have a channel called Wiki Weekends. Karls the type of KZfaqr who wont copyright claim you as long as you arent down right stealing his shit, Im sure he'd appreciate you saying the name of the Channel though. They deserve alot more subs

During that George IV sketch, Jim Howick who plays him was very naughty with improvisations, so dick wig most likely did sneak it.....Laurance Rickard who was a writer for the show and is a vital part of their troupe said they slipped in some jokes for the grown-ups. Ben Willbond had a catchphrase.."hot sausage" which he used a lot too. And the Stupid Death sketches were always filmed last, so they were all improvising, especially Simon.

It happened to both of them...both obese with massive untreated infections. Henry VIII had an ulcer that never healed up and stank for his last years. Treated with leeches..and he compulsively ate, was constipated....

Drop your price since you don't do the 10 minute rule anyway and haven't dropped below $20 per video since you said you were going to, 120 an hour is is a bit steep guys, not cool! markksargent you can literally demonstrate it with two people holding rulers and a watch by measuring the shadows. Flat earthers themselves made a documentary trying to demonstrate the flat earth but accidentally demonstrated a curve. What evidence at all do you have to say its flat? Even if the earth wasn’t round that in no way means it is therefore by default a flat plane

Quick question we have had jet technology for decades why hasn't a single flat earth chartered a jet plane fly to the edge and video record the journey? How come not a single flat earther has done so? I mean the real flat earthers who believe this, not shills like you looking to make money selling t-shirts and crap to the morons? Not really that hard go to the beach take your Nikon P900 set the correct filters and record the "HUGE" sun dropping below the horizon just proved. Or go to Antarctica navigate all around it you never leave the southern ocean again no ice wall no flat earth proved again. This is way too easy. So what is it that makes you think it is hard to prove is it that flat earthers lack intelligence?

@markksargent... You can see the curve of the earth through a powerful camera lens, It's why you can't see past a certain point, The horizon is the end of your line of sight... If you look at the ocean though a powerful telescope you can see ships appearing over the horizon... They also did a test with a laser pointing across a lake to a target and a boat with bullseye and as the boat was travelling to the other side, The laser mark moved up then down and they found the highest point was the exact central point between the laser and the target, The water was curved and the central point of the lake was higher than the surrounding land...

How do you win the debate about lunar eclipses and a flat earth? Does the sun's rays shine through the bottom of the flat earth to light up the moon at night? If the sun doesn't go underneath the earth then how would the earth get between the sun and the moon? If the sun does go underneath the earth then how does the moon have its stages, ie.. 1/4, 1/2, full, none? Doesn't make any logical sense for the earth to be flat when you think about the moon. How do you debate that?
