The saddest part about this is that the cat's brother, a dog named Kuma, passed away. The owner said the cat start wailing like this after the dog passed away because the cat was looking for him. This song actually runs as deep as it makes us feel, lil homie going through the same emotional turmoil we would be going through too

@@SimranRajQueenBliss I wouldn't doubt it. I would leave my cat alone for 9-10 hours a day to go to work. One time, I snuck around back a few times after I'd leave and look in the window. She was walking around looking for me making a sound like this. It broke my heart. I still cringe at the thought of leaving her alone for 7-10 days while on vacation. I had someone go in 2x a day to feed her and that was it. She died 6 months ago at 11.5 years old, not terribly old for a cat. Looking back, I bet loneliness and boredom contributed to her dying prematurely. I intend to get another one, but I will absolutely get two next time. Leaving an animal alone for that many hours is cruel.

I had a 13 year old cat and a 7 year old cat. When our 13 year old cat passed. Our 7 year old cat would roam around the house crying and wailing the saddest wails I have ever heard. Within 3 weeks we got a new cat and our seven year old cat became so much more happier and would try to show her love for us getting a new one. Later the new cat escaped and it took us two nights to get him back. She was worried sick. This just goes to show that cats are not lazy and really do care a lot about us and each other❤

Every time any of our pets go to the vet, every other animal gets worried. Even the cats. They get worried when we take a dog to the vet because the dogs get worried. And when a cat goes, they get worried because that’s their brother leaving them. And they don’t know if he’ll come back. My dogs have got worried sick whenever an animal goes to the vet because a few years ago, my dog Marley got really sick and could barely move. So that same day, the day before his 17th birthday, we realized that there was nothing we could do. He threw up everything he ate, and would starve, dying a slow painful death. So we took him to an emergency vet, and said our goodbyes. Then we had him put down. I still sometimes forget he died. That’s why they get so worried. It doesn’t matter if they go to the vet or not either. We went to get donuts one day, and it was nice out. So we took our chihuahua on a drive with us, and when we got back, every cat had to check on him. Our dog Duncan, was literally crying as we walked in the door. It’s like animals get PTSD when their fellow animals, or people, go somewhere and don’t return. My guinea pig died in my arms recently. He randomly started dying, so we held him until he died. All of the dogs were sad, and, believe it or not, the cats cried too. Billy especially. He hung out with our guinea pig, whose name was Stanley, all the time. Seemingly never wanting to eat him. He’d put his paw in between the bars of the cage, claws sheathed, and literally pet Stanley, to which Stanley replied with licking and wheeking (the adorable happy noise they make.). When Stanley died I brought Billy to see him, and he closed his eyes and touched his nose to Stanley for a moment, then walked away looking sad. He hung out by the cage until we moved it out, waiting to see Stanley, though he knew that he was gone. We buried him. I’m done writing. I’m starting to cry. Peace out.✌️

Both my cats were sleeping peacefully in the other room on their nice sunny cat shelf when I decided to play this. That sweet kitten started singing about being all alone sometime, and sometimes not of course, and I hears scurrying cat nails in the other room (losing traction because they couldn't run fast enough). I had to show them my phone because they were looking around so intensely. I finally paused and played the video and said see, no kitties in here besides you two. I'm so grateful my cats don't want other cats to be alone (sometimes).

I'm sorry about your losses, especially being so close together. 😔 I've lost both my parents & a brother & many pets over the years. It never gets any easier. Each loss is like a punch to the guts. My cat is 12 years old, I got him the year before my Dad died & I dread the day I lose him because he's such a strong connection to them all, but especially my Mum who spoiled him & passed just last year.

I think these lyrics are actually very meaningful. The cat's life hasbecome monotonous and having to stay inside, the cat's life is defined by when the cat is alone and when they're not. And the difference has become so blurred to them that they call out "hello?" because they aren't even sure anymore when they're alone and when they're not. I cried while writing this.

I wish I had my kitty still. But I was not in the best mindset and had to be hospitalized. I came back home and he was gone. And my guardian just said he was annoying her. He was a moody kitten with everyone but he was so sweet once he was comfortable with you. He was a black, fluffy, very small cat with beautiful blue eyes. And he loved the color pink just like me. I know how this cat feels on a very deep level. My dad passed in 2005, my brother 3 months later and my mom passed last Monday 2024. Though I'm married with two kids you still feel alone when all of your immediate family passes away and your left with all the memories.

Our good friend is in hospice and us playing and singing this song made him laugh today. Staff is about to up his morphine so we may not be able to connect with him like this again.
