No, jolenekp, but the show did introduce a lot of people to their music. Chellyx is thanking the Blacklist for introducing it to her (him?). I'll never quite understand the salt thrown at people for discovering music through a television show other than by some other means. I'm always thrilled when I hear a favorite artist of mine get some airplay and new fans because of a TV show.

*I was babysitting a 4 year old and she kept repeating a song and dancing. I tried looking the song up...to no avail. Her version was "I'm the only shy cherry on your food stamp." Her mom clarified what the actual song is, and I don't think I've laughed that hard in ages. Out of the mouth of babes.*

Absolutely (and some I have heard before, as well... Our House by Crosby, Stills, and Nash was great even way back when)! Don't know that there's a better example than "Up Past the Nursery" by the Suuns, though (aka, the Stewmaker song). Also fell in love with Beck's "Go it Alone."

What works out really well is that The Kills get extra attention because people who never heard of this group or the song want to find out who performed the song. So advertising for the group and also it adds some awesomeness to whatever show it is on. Profitable both ways!

It doesn't really matter how you find the band if you appreciate their music. I discovered The Kills just because of Kate Moss's relationship with Jamie, and I'll tell you i'm bloody glad I did because they are one of the most brilliant bands! But as an avid music fan, i'm sure I would of come across them sooner or later because these guys can not be ignored.

Its not a song that you would like the first time you hear it ( imo when i first heard it, the beginning sounds much better than the end) But it grows on you, it just may become apart of my regular rotation of music.
