Lot's of interesting things going on in the 24seconds they showed -New special move based in old 5cd, EX version wallbounces. It's good that they changed it because the old 5cd had a problem of whiffing in short/crouched opponents. -Faster projectyle? Well...unlike the old games, 14 don't have the bug of slow projectyle + command grab becoming a unblockable, and mature already have a multihit slow projectyle...it's good that it changed for something else -EX storm bringer seems to combo? -New run&slash special...seems like EX crosses-up before hitting? -New super for setups? I'm liking a lot what i'm seeing, curious for who will be the next characters too....

Personajes más para que en los torneos y online siempre encuentres Kyo, benimaru, iori, Robert, Geese, Kim y de ahí no salen, son pocos los jugadores que agarran personajes diferentes. De un roster enorme solo 6 o 7 son los más jugados.

1989worms1 Nah, leave that for XV(two more DLC characters, bringing the DLC additions to 8 people as a whole). Have a team of Roddy, Cathy and Rosa(Roddy and Cathy have their own game, a side scrolling shooter with Fatal Fury plane switching and Rosa is the girl from Kizuna Encounter)show up.

Does this game allow characters from other franchises ? Because if Geese was in Tekken 7 I think it would only be fair to have a Tekken Character in this game. But if not they need to add Mary.

NixUniverse Kof has mainly other snk games such as fatal fury which is where geese is originally from , art of fighting, samurai shodown etc

daniel spell oh my god I’m so dumb. I’m trying to get into this game so I’m new to KoF but I thought all of the characters in the KoF franchise was SNK. I thought SNK was the name of the company like Bandai Namco for example. I thought KoF was SNK’s Original Flag Ship Fighter & all of the characters in KoF are character created specifically for that game.

No you're right. SNK is the actual name of the company responsible for KOF as well as the many characters within it. But yes, KOF is the melting pot of various SNK games whether they are initially from fighting games (Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Another World) or adapted from non-fighting games (Psycho Soldier, Ikari, Another World). However, there are plenty of KOF original characters, mostly by the various Country-Themed Teams. As for your idea, it would definitely be great to have representatives from other non-SNK franchises, but to play by the rules of KOF, we need three.

@PlayStation It's nice to see SNK actively and regularly supporting King of Fighters XIV. But this gets me wondering if we're ever going to get a Capcom vs. SNK Pro + Capcom vs. SNK 2 collection, SVC Chaos HD, and then a Capcom vs. SNK 3 and SVC Chaos 2.

ben chun welp.....SNK says that their games have hints of JJBA...from characters to poses For instance, they admit that Benimaru is inspired by Polnareff and Heidern's pose is also a reference of JJBA also the New Face team's pose in KOF 2002UM
