Isn’t the whole premise of the show that Arthur helped them buy that house, that’s why he lives there rent “free”? Dough comes off very douchy most times, specially with Arthur.

No. They already had the house in the pilot. And then Arthur burns his house down in the pilot, and moved in with them.

And Arthur didn't have insurance so when his house burned down he was flat broke. Doug had to give up his man cave in the basement to Arthur, which is why he's always resented him.

Talk about the “Mandela Effect”! I swear just recently I had seen a scene were Dough and Carry are talking about Arthur helping them buy the house or with mortgage payments. But obviously I’m wrong… or am I? Nah, yeah I’m wrong lol
