Undoubtedly, the music & singing of The Breath of Life, The King's Heralds & Faith for Today Quartets & The Heritage Singers, have, over the years, served to nurture my faith & foundation, in The Seventh Day Adventist Church! I praise GOD for those formative years & the good ole Gospel music HE gave to HIS Church!

I discovered the Kings heralds last year. As I keep listening I wanted to learn more about the group. The more I listen the more songs they sing I fall in love with. I love the history of the group. I am a bass singer for a choir in New Baltimore Michigan. I fell in love with Jim McClintock as a bass singer. I hope and pray to be in a great Quartet like this someday singing bass. Thank you To the Lonesome Four, The Heralds and the Kings Heralds for all you did and Continue to do for the Kingdom of Jesus Our Lord

To be honest, i can't identify sda music from other denominations when they bring that Hillsong style inside sda church amd they call it praise and worship. im also bothered with the drums and symbals. There is not much difference than that of in the club music.

My Dad was the first Adventist that had a radio program way back in the 50's at Southern Missionary College where he met, Bob Edwards, who was a great friend of my Dad. Dad used to let him sing with them sometimes at camp. I grew up with these men that have taught me the great power of a unique chord progression. What an amazing sound! Bob was a wonderful Christian and a dear friend to our family.

When my grandfather was growing up his parents lived and worked at Maplewood Academy and were neighbors and friends with Bob Edwards' parents and I believe to some degree they were acquainted with Bob as well. While in academy John Thurber lived, at least, for a short time with my great-grandparents. While I was a student at Southern Adventist University I became acquainted with Mr Thurber, and learned that he thought of my great-grandparents as a second set of parents, and my grandfather and some of my great-uncles as his brothers. Also, my great-grandmother was the matron of honor in HMS Richards, Sr's wedding.

Also, in August 2004 as a senior at Collegedale Academy I got to meet and personally speak with both Wayne Hooper and Del Delker at the University Church in Collegedale, TN. The academy choir, of which I was a part, got to sing for a VOP anniversary the day that I met them.

The great Adventist connection, my dad and Bob Edwards sang in a quartet together at Maplewood. My dad was 2nd tenor. Wayne Thurber, John Thurber's twin brother was my academy principle in Texas. We had a great music program. Ray Turner did evangelistic meetings in Texas and my dad who became a pastor would help organize these. Playing in and around the tents ⛺ was always fun. As a PK I had the privilege of meeting these amazing musicians over my lifetime. I was a kid and they were my mentors, idols, and heros, and role models. I graduated from Southern few years ago (1970)😹😹😹 These songs bring back so many memories. Part of our Heritage

Your father and his lovely group brought joy to me way back in 1974 when at 15years old after me and my family gave our lives to Jesus following a Bible crusade. My aunty gave us gifts, which included a Bible, a book, Steps to Christ and a couple recordings by the King's Harold's. That was the beginning of my first love experience with Jesus. We were blessed for the many years that followed.

Ever since (1944), I heard the Kings Herald's Quartette( @ times with Del Delker), I loved listening to them, from Sabbath to Sabbath..........even to this day (2014). Surely you guys have inspired many and have spread the "Good News." in this manner. Keep it up and God Bless the group.

Hi, my name is Bladimiro; I will never change the old time himns for the new ones. This us a true story, there is a Himns book called Inspiring songs, the name was given to the himns book because the writers of the himns did not have to seat for a week or a month thinking about what to write and what music to put to the letters. This himns were inspired by the holy spirit to this writers withe the letters and music. I new this old Brother in Jesus, he is with the lord now; he passed away 15 years ago, he was about 93 years old. When he was young, at his church there was a member very poor and used to make his livivg with a day labor but he was a very rich oerdon spiritually. The lord gave him many songs while he was working, when he csme at church at night he said: the Lord gave me this song today and when he sang the himn the holy spirit came over the congregation and there was lots of blessing and joy. But now preachers and singers and persons that are in charge of the congregations and churches forgot that is not by might nor by power by my spirit says the Lord of hosts. They want to sing songs according to the tadte of the person is going to listen; like for some that like rap music they make. Rap songs, for th i se who like heavy metal they make christian heavy metal song and so on and so on. My questios is, do we we need to take anything from the world to the almighty God that created the heavens and the earth and created us? The king of kings and Lord of Lords the onr who dwells amang the praises of thousands and thousands of angels, archangels, cherubims and seraphims singing prases to the Lord. Do you think he us pleased with a so called heavy metal christian song? May the LORD bless those who still rejoice prasong God with the old time inspiring himns. May the Lord bless you and your family and give you the desires of your heart, maranatha; he is coming soon

+bladimiro Ceron-Brenes I totally agree with you and don't like the so-called worship music nowadays that makes me feeling like being in a disco, it often is more yelling than singing as if the Lord is deaf

even in the same heralds of the king the difference of the music is noticed. As it is noticeable that the genre gospel has been decaying until it is confused with a modern quartet, not as before in those golden times of Bob Edwards, Wayne Hooper, Jerry Dill , Jack Veazey, Jim Ayars, Jerry Patton, John Ramsey, Jim McClintock, John Thurber, Bob Seamount, etc., may God continue to bless this quartet
