New Met Commissioner recently said…without Integrity we are nothing. Pc 764 clearly disagrees so is unfit for purpose. He mentioned his Oath to the King….but failed to mention this part …..upholding fundamental human rights and according equal respect to all people; Recording a police stop is protected under a fundamental human right article 10 the right to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority. Clearly this officer was deliberately blocking all attempts to film this search, why ? What do they have to hide ? He was suggesting he was protecting the person arrested, what he was really doing was deliberately blocking all attempts as showing what the police were up to…..as for respect, he clearly showed no respect. So although he can say he represents the King, i think the King would definitely not want this officer…764 representing him, he is a disgrace to King, Country, the force & to any member of his family

“In the British model of policing, officers exercise their powers to police with the implicit consent of the PUBLIC . “Policing by consent" is the phrase used to describe this. It expresses that the legitimacy of policing in the eyes of the public is based upon a general consensus of support that follows from transparency about their powers, their integrity in exercising those powers and their accountability for doing so.” The ‘bearded blunder ‘ needs to learn who he serves .

Despite you telling him to leave you alone and him acknowledging that you didn't need to speak to him, for him to continually impede what you were trying to do and get in your face and speak to you after you repeatedly asked him not to is harassment.

This is an attempt to enforce what he personally thinks is decent against indecency (in this case filming a person who "might" not want to be filmed), the problem is, it has nothing to do with his job, therefore he is abusing his powers. It really looks more like they are hiding something
@newblor11 ай бұрын
@@chronomaster5779 It's worse. You have no expectation of privacy in public, so not wanting to be filmed is irrelevant. The copper thinks standing in the way to impede recording and movement is fine, but it's not lawful. Being obnoxious is just an optional extra. Worse still is putting hands on someone in that circumstance. From the Met directly: Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel.
@chronomaster577911 ай бұрын
@@newblor Yes, but i included it in my comment. When i said "it has nothing to do with his job" i meant to include that its not/against the law. Meaning he is acting with authority based on his personal motives, which immediately makes it corrupt. However, in this case, as far as i can analyse, this police officer was genuine in his concern for some reason and was sure it was his duty to protect the privacy of this individual (or his officers), which shows he is being taught just general principles in his training, which doesn't coincide with the law, and also he began to make an ego reaction when was approached with impolite dismissal. His personality and flaws are exactly the opposite of what makes a person capable of being an effective and decent police officer. And i believe the recruitment and bad training of these people are done on purpose. May you explain what did you mean by "being obnoxious is optional"? I didnt understand the context of it.
