However, they are mistaken about HOW He will come, which resulted in disbelief, confusion, and misunderstanding Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem in Mark 11:1-12. Jesus was doing exactly what was needed because He was and is the King that we long for.

"Not the King they wanted, but the King they needed." Sometimes God tells us things we may not want to hear, but He tells us the things we NEED to hear. Partly why flattery is so wicked, flattery is what we want to hear, not what we need to hear. Helps no one in the end. "He who rebukes a man will later find more favor than one who flatters with his tongue." Proverbs 28:23
