It was a weird interview and it was probably the only one he was willing to make because it was contractual. He's been in LA for 3 weeks and hasn't promoted the movie beside that weird interview he gave. Where he just made excuses for why he doesn't look happy about the movie. Weird.

He thinks he's too big and too good of an actor now. After Euphoria. He only did the TBK 2 and 3 because of the money and because when he signed on for those to movies he hadn't been hired for any additional movies or shows. TBK blow up in April/May 2018 on the internet and was the most watch movie when it came out in June of 2018. he had been staying with Joey since they filmed the first film in Jan 2017 in Cape Town and then moved to LA and stayed with her. But he told GQ he was ready to quit and move back home right for he finally got the Euphoria pilot and 2hearts in July 2018. At that point he still had no additional acting roles or options when he signed on for the second and third movie and he was with Joey. Euphoria pilot got picked up in August 2018 and he finishing filming 2hearts in August in Canada. He could finally get an apartment per his GQ interview and could stay in the US. Started filming Euphoria in October and broke up with Joey in November of 2018. I follow her on insta and she was so into the movies and him. He's young. He's learning. It's exciting for him to be associated with all these super famous people. He left Joey for an unknow model and I think having her at the family of TBK most have been awkward as hell in Cap town. Then he broke up with her for Zendaya and now is apparently dating Kaira Gerber Cindy Crawford's daughter's. They were photographed at fashion parties several times and leaving a party together in late feb and now again. He's just part of that hollywood crowd now. So, TBK movies don't interest him. He wants to be perceived as a serious actor and edgy and cool. He wants to be like Leo.lol They all fall into that when they start.

@@mayanjames4638 I realize this is an old thread but Joey ended it.. he was bitter . He brought the model to SA for the sole purpose to hurt Joey.. then told her to leave and ended with her. There was rumor that he wanted to reconcile with Joey and she wanted no part of it. She was already dating her present fiancé at that point. She got close with Taylor which did not sit well with Jacob.

@@eyeonlywishsmith9490 I wish the interviewer focused on the film and not on other things. This was the first time Jacob ever appeared on an interview related to the movie, but it seemed pointless to me.

Agree!! There is not one picture with him and the cast except those from the movie itself. I heard on one of the interviews that movie ends with a cliffhanger. I wonder if they did that in anticipation of a 3rd one knowing he wouldn’t do it.

IKR, I really enjoyed when they spoke about their characters. I’m thinking this movie is going to be radically different from the second book and maybe they can’t say a lot until this “cliffhanger” is seen and reacted to.

Lara Jade - I think you have the right to be cranky, they know that Jacob is a huge draw for this film and they are trying to skirt around him, his attitude, and his comments. Kinda leaves you unsatisfied. He really should just man up and give his fans what they’re expecting - the happy, sweet, friendly Jacob that everyone liked!
