@Pocket_EDC I have downloaded a lot of catalogs of line. Sometimes, they are excerpts of catalogs. That Shapleigh catalog has the clearest, longest listing of empire knives I've seen. That was worth the whole book.

I actually have 2 of those parker knives the green one and the white one they are like mint condition too I bought them off Ebay a few years ago. Very nice knives I collect parker knives and others as well old frost knives made in Japan are nice too. 😊

Great video and great information I don't have any knife books yet I keep looking at thrift stores hopping to get lucky I'm disabled so I'm on a budget I'm not giving up I'll keep looking

@@jamesluther3506 James Gun Digest produced Book of Knives written by B.B. Hughes and Jack Lewis. It's not like the Gun Bible though. Really the best book the list and gives history on knife manufacturers is The Standard Knife Collectors Guide by Roy Ritchie and Ron Stewart. Roy Ritchie's book list over 300 knife companies plus custom knife makers. The most extensive listing of knife companies is Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings. However most don't have histories.
