@@skylixx005 Did you guys always knew that POTC were based off an actual history and historical legends? :O I didn't. Found out about some more informations and it seems that Flying Dutchman was actually a legend about a ghost ship or something like that, a ship that sailmen feared. I thought that it was a good story from a pen of a scenarist writing POTC. I didn't expect it to be really based on the history and the historical legends: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Dutchman

This was such a good theme for the Kraken, its just constant inensity throughout even in the low notes. Then the final power notes at 6:14, to let the viewer know that the ship is destroyed, the sailers are all doomed & everything is being pulled into the sea depths. Hans Zimmer, you are a master!

It was scary to see the ship get smashed in half and as the sailors who held on for dear life look at the foaming water to see row upon row of teeth and stench of rotting sailors as their more unlucky comrades slide down into the gaping maw of the beast from the depths.

When i listen to movie soundtrack like that i'm always wondering how would people from 17-18 and 19th century feel about this kind of music since it's pretty much an evolution of classical music. Good God almighty! Around 4min into the song and it gets amazing! The French horn triplets add so much tension and the 2/4 beat really drives the piece forward. Also, the JS Bach riffs that pop up every now and then show where Hans got his inspiration :) Absolutely wonderful!

just imagine you see Edward looking through his spyglass. And there is no flag shown the name is "flying dutchman" and the freight is neither Rum nor sugar but souls. ... Suddenly the captain of this ship looks towards and the spyglass magicly zooms in as he yells across the sea. RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!! *Sea begins to boil* ... Edward: Aim at the ship! FIRE!!!! *A gigant tentacle graps the sail of the Jackdaw and pulls it towards the boiling sea* Edward: Grap onto something! *Everyone slides across the sloping deck* Edward: AAARRRGGGHHHH! *jumpes onto the emerging Kraken* *Edward looks Kraken in the eye* Edward: How dare you mess around with my ship? *stabs both sabres into one of Krakens eyes* *A tentacle swings around and hits Edward into the chest. Almost unconsious because of this sudden shock Edward flings across the sea onto the the crow's nestt of the flying dutchman. As Edward gets up he sees the guy which has a shell instead of a head, storming towards him, while swinging his dirty sea-shell axe. "You are one ugly motherfucker!", screams Edward, as he rams both of his Hidden Blades into the shell-head of the guy and gruely twists them to split the shell into three halfs. Edward looks with a wide smirk on his face, while his enemy is screaming in agony, before he kicks him from the crow's nest. Davy Jones sees one of his crew members falling directly onto him, so he graps him with his left hand . Crew Member: Thank you for catching me Captain! Davy: Are you afraid of death? Crew member: eeh? Davy: What a pity *closes his clamps which cuts open his crew-members belly* DavyJones seem to have enjoyed this moment, because he is yelling, "Who is next? Why doesn´t anyone try to get on my ship?" Edward saw his oppurtunity since Davy was looking at the Jackdaw instead up to him, so he jumped down from the crow's nest and stabs Davy Jones heart with such an enormous power that both break through the ground and land in the storage room. "May you rest in peace", says Edward as he stands up and trys walking to the Jackdaw, when suddenly his rear foot is grapped by Davy Jones right tentacle hand. "That was a nice stab, it has been long since anyone showed such power instead of trembling, before me, but this only works on those who have a heart", says Davy Jones while slowly raising up. *WHAT HAPPENS FROM HERE ON OUT IS YOUR DECISION It would be awesome if you guys would complete this story. I am looking forward to your Ideas*
