The maknae, Haeun, is ridiculously good on stage for her age. I couldnt believe she is only 13! The first few stages after their debut is was like, "oh shit, she scares me!". Her presence and confidence is unreal, 4th gen is just full of monster maknaes. Ive started to really like the other rapper, the 2nd youngest, Seowon, I think there is a HUGE amount of untapped potential there, in a few years time she could develop and progress similarly to CLC's Yeeun as a rapper, once her voice and image matures a little.

did you notice how in 4:19 the girl's high note falsetto was apart of the intrument(like how she sang her falsetto along with the intrument) ? i thought that was a really awesome touch!!!!!

Seowon is the main rapper and her flow as a rapper is so good which is better shown in their queendom song... Haeun's over all performance is amazing, she really caught my eye when watching them perform for the first time in debut showcase... Haeun also nailed her rap parts in this song... Shana, Yue and Chanty sound so good as well in this song... The way that this song never gets boring in performance from the start till the end is incredible

What bothers me a bit is that people mostly only talk about Chanty. I rarely read anything about Yue, Bessie, Seowon or Shana (while Haeun was also often mentioned how good she is). Their vocals and rap is incredibly good for such a rookie group. Hit Ya was a good debut but I missed the vocals a bit (felt like 70% "Hit Ya" lines). Burn with love is a great b-side but my favorite is actually Queendom, which was supposed to be released along with Hit Ya but didn't for some reason. Queendom sounds like Blackpink and Everglow made a baby.

They have another song on this EP called "Burn with Love" which is really good, worth checking out

I also prefer Hit Ya! as a song more, but this was a great comeback. Hopefully MLD will promote not only these girls well, but also their other two groups (T1419 and Momoland). Momoland deserve way better promotions and comebacks more often.

Yes! I’ve been waiting for your review of Gratata! Haeun is the maknae rapper that you liked, she’s on another level. Bessie is the vocal with blonde hair you mentioned, I love her voice and Im so glad she got to show it off on this song. Chanty is the tall one with dark hair who you said you liked her acting; she actually used to be an actor in the Philippines before she came to Korea! Lapillus is so talented, and this song really shows their talents well I think.

I agree, I also like hit ya better (music and choreo-wise). It has that unique feel, though most ppl didn't like it due to lack of vocals but maaann that instrumental was chef's kiss. That was such a strong debut for me. This cb was great too! Although it went for a more typical sound, it did showcased the talents of the girls esp their vocals. I think I can understand what mld is trying to do for them as both debut and cb are receiving mixed reviews. I really love the girls, I hope they have another cb that can give everything at once at top tier level. But that'll eventually come, they're still a very young group. The girls are already awesome and have HUGE potential. Like the way they carried and delivered, esp in stage performances! These girls are monsters in the making. I'm so excited for them XD I'mma keep them on my radar

This song has grown on me so much; as well as "Hit Ya". But what I love seeing with the choreography (ESPECIALLY with girl groups) is them going hard. The "cute" and "girly" choreography just doesn't do it for me. I find it cheesy and just MEH. But you give a girl group hard (and I don't mean technically hard choreo, but choreo that just goes hard) is chef's kiss in my book.

I'm with you in that I prefer Hit Ya. This song feels familiar to me due to it's almost like they're sampling other groups. The pre-chorus sounds very WJSN like, and then there are parts that sound very BlackPink, and so on and so forth with sounding like other groups
