I love the way this collab happened honestly. And the fact that Teddy mentioned the fact that he should collab with Jimin 2 years prior is amazing. He vaguely new Jimin looked up to him. This song fit Jimin perfectly too. Loved his overall tone he used and then he sprinkled in his high vocals. It was amazing. And apparently they will both be on music shows? And then Yoongi chatting with Taeyang on his KZfaq show, this BigBang/BTS crossover was long overdue! I’m obsessed with this song and makes me wanna dive into Taeyang’s music for sure. I’m so happy.. 😂

I don't know how to really explain this, but I feel validated. I have always felt proud to be listening to and following kpop over the past ten years or so, but this collab makes me feel validated. This is what music was made for. This is what I've been waiting 10 years for. For collabs like this and PSY with Yoongi and BTS with Coldplay and Jin with Coldplay. These collabs are why music is the most important thing ever in our lives. The simplicity of the set makes it so stunning and gorgeous all its own, and it really allows Jimin and Taeyang to shine that much more brightly. They both look and sound amazing! I'm so proud!

Taeyang and Jimin my two favorites of all Kpop. (I’m not too much into Kpop btw. The only Kpop groups I listened to happen to be big bang and bts). Needless to say, this is a dream come true for me, and they did justice to both of my artists, imho. I absolutely loved everything about this!!!! 11:00 Wedding dress makes me feel so nostalgic. Wedding dress and GD's Breathe were the very first kpop songs I listened too. Its super exciting to see him make solo music again, and this did not disapoint. Taeyangs and Jimins voice made for a nice mix together.

If you read the lyrics carefully, they are both singing to each other. As Taeyang said, Jimin motivated him more which got him back his confidence after seeing Jimin's relentless passion for making music. This Vibe does not intend to show case their respective incredible vocal caliber instead it show cases their maturity, smooth and refined artistic music such that they can make something beautiful out of simple notes and tones intentionally to create a joyful vibe. It's like you are listening to an effortless and smooth Usher (on Taeyang) and Jamie Fox (on Jimin), not to mention the bits and pieces of MJ's sound and moves. Hence, the Vibe. 💜💜💜

AND BTS is literally the biggest group in the world. they achieve what other group from any generation never achieve up until THIS DAY.

Just think this was not the original song that Taeyang had invited Jimin to sing. Teddy pulled Taeyang away right before Jimin was to hear the song and told Taeyang not that song, Vibe, do that song and people will love it. Vibe didn't even have words at that time. Not only is it only about taeyang and jimin but everything is clean and simple. The dance is hard to me but it doesn’t seem to be anything crazy, the video is clean and straightforward, same with the song and lyrics even the structure of the song. It’s like a breathe of fresh air (that is if you didn’t have crazy big expectations or) especially if you just want less to be going on, and to not have to think too deeply, to be able to just vibe. I think that may be the point, this is simply a vibe.

Taeyang knew well who to collaborate with, choosing jimin from bts! Such a smart comeback! I was shocked to learn about it! The song has late 90s early 2000s pop vibes. All in all, I liked this song!

I think part of why Jimin seems so comfortable in this video is because it's essentially a simulation of a stage performance. Jimin becomes a different creature on stage, so this kind of video is in his comfort zone.
