In a way I am so glad that K, EJ, Nicolas and Taki were left out of Enhypen. It allowed them time to improve and grow as artists and boy did they grow! Seeing them in The Howling I was so shocked to see how well their singing has improved. Like Nicolas and Taki! Such beautiful voices and so much more stable now. I am so proud of the boys. They've come so far. I'm excited to get to know the other members more and see them as one team. Loved the debut, can't wait for more!

To answer your question at 16:13, yes Hybe hired in house staffs to write original stories. They revealed and interviewed some of them in their latest Community Briefing. Even these employees were so shock with how Hybe does it lol

This is probarly my favorite debut along with TXT and Newjeans. Hybe really surprised me by pulling out two incredible debuts this year. I swear these are not the same boys on &audition! Don't get me wrong the boys were fab on the show but their growth in such a short period of time is just out of this world. I love how Hybe always picked songs that don't sound like traditional Kpop/Jpop songs and I Iove how there isn't a rap part in the song.BTW the choreo is just INSANE!!! WHO WAS THE CHOREOGRAPHER OF THIS SONG?!?!! All of the boys impressed me a lot but I wish some of the members got more screen time like EJ, Fuma, and Taki. They teased the new iland GG at the end of the extended version. Bet they will have a witch concept! Also, the scene where K jumped and tried to grab the moon reminds me of Chaewon's jumping part in Fearless.

Please don’t expect &AUDITION to be like ILand Because it’s really not! Some say it’s not too serious because it doesn’t show a lot of the behind the scenes work. But I loved it because they focused on being one team and they didn’t have any evil editing and the competition aspect wasn’t there to stir any drama I really loved it and I think that’s why they’re team atmosphere is strong because they focused on teamwork so much and nobody left the shows with scars

K’s acting is beautiful. I see him in dramas coming up. He reminds me of V, has a natural beauty, looks good in all outfits and without makeup. &Team will fill my void when Bts enlists and are fastly becoming my favorite ❤

Hybe really knows how to make insane storylines and keep people following and analysing them. This makes me even more excited for their other comebacks to see how the storyline will go. Especially it's so cool to see how Hybe is connecting these two groups. I literally cried at the end when I saw Enhypen members. I hope we will get to see &team and enhypen collab one day. Now I wonder if Enhypen will also have more storyline going in their future comebacks which connects to &team too. This is just so creative.

16:14 During this year's HYBE Briefing, they revealed that there actually is a writing team who are in charge of the storylines, webtoons, ebooks, and concept hints that are included in albums and merch.

Also note that more than half of the members already had a strong dance background which gives them such precision and sharp movements, giving their performances more emotion and feel. I really believe their dance performances give the same feel as Seventeen’s choreography in the sense that they make you feel something with their music and story.

This is definitely one of the best debuts ever. HYBE just doesn’t disappoint with concepts and storytelling. My mouth was on the floor watching the whole video. Then at the end when K, EJ, Nicholas and Taki running after the bus with Enhypen on it just broke me.

I’m so proud of K I could almost cry every time watching him! I was SO devastated after I land… I’m glad he is where he should be!

As a casual listener, I only watched the shorter version of the MV and thought it's a nice song. But damn, the extended version hits so much harder and much more emotional, actually makes me want to watch their show.

I need an actual, like reasoned essay on why the hell this song, let ALONE the concept, just the song itself is so goddamn good??? I heard if for the first time and was almost vexed and seeing the story made it even better!! It's been 7 years since I started watching BTS, and I got in through I Need U, and I almost think this just... Feels like how the BU felt back then? BTS are my ults, always will be, but I honestly just felt like &team could become as big.... I need so much discussion!!!

And I found it again with &Team. I've watched Iland after watching the &Audition. I cried when the four were eliminated. I wanted to say to their past version, "In the near future, you'll find your own place, you'll have your own platform and your own music.There's definitely an amazing future waiting for all of you." I'll continue supporting them. We'll definitely see them top the global pop industry.

I'm LITERALY DYING from the ENHYPEN reveal. I had been waiting for that moment since 2021 and it didn't disappoint 🥳🤯 Also, it's probably only the ILand members who appeared because they were the only ones who appeared in the original mv. HYBE had kept them in storage till they were ready for the new show, so they first hinted at their plans by using them in D-D.

I'm so happy for their debut especially K'...the hate he was getting and still getting just because misinterpretation of what he says or does is just so sad...I'm just happy he made it with these 3 iland and 5 &audition members..they all go so well together!! this is definitely amazing debut..ntm their album is so good and their debut song scent of you is the best!

This debut made me cry, like after 2 years we finally got something, and something that exceeded all our expections. People are so used to high notes, racing car raps and machine dancing, they can feel this is underwhelming for them... But this is a perfect example what an artist is supposed to be, show ART. And these boys did. They touched people's emotions and that's more than enough to describe an artist's success. I hope people listen to them without a prejudice of "oh but it's jpop" So what? It's music, it's lyrics, if it's good, IT'S GOOD!

anyways, hitman bang really never failed to make such great musics with literally ALL groups he formed. from BTS, then TXT with flawless discography, then enhypen, even gg like le sserafim, and now even japanese group like &team. i honestly didn't expect that their debut song will be THIS GOOD!. and the fact that Slow Rabbit, bighit producer known as main producer of TXT, the one who produced this song is kinda made me think like " no wonder this is sooooo good!!!"

In my opinion, a lot of Japanese male idols have sugoii visuals. I mean, &TEAM is not the very first male idols who have such visuals. But, the Japanese agencies didn't explore enough to maximize their filmography and show the stunning visuals. Gladly, HYBE already be the one who do the job greatly.

For me falling in love with &team happened cos I said “I wish I’d been a fan of BTS since debut, wouldn’t that have been cool” so when I saw the teaser for &team a few weeks back I just wanted to see them debut to see what it’s like… watched this MV alone then again when my teens arrived home from school and thought nothing more of it, a decent pop song with rock elements and great choreo. Of course YT suggested the choreo video a few days later so when I watched that, I noticed Fuma straight away (The beautiful transition guy!) Rewatched this video multiple times to try to figure out which member he was and the song grew on me rather than annoyed me! Then watched Scent of You and decided I’m a fan. Excited to see how they progress and watch all the behind the scenes stuff. Watching the &audition episodes were so informative too, really liked the members and felt sad at those who didn’t make it. Looking forward to more of your reactions! 💜🤍

Gotta give it to hybe, they KNOW how to not only come up with great stories/concepts but execute them perfectly. I wholeheartedly agree with you that this might be the best debut ever. The lyrics, production, cinematography, choreography, EVERYTHING was mind blowing. As a longtime fan of K, I will admit I was incredibly disappointed & pissed out of my mind when he didnt make it into Enhypen but MY GOD that's now the best thing that could've happened. K belongs in &Team. His growth both as an artist & as a person in &Audition was heartwarming to see so I'm excited for you to check it out. I couldn't be prouder of my boy! Also, side note. I (alongside other K fans) think the storyline with the bullying & the growing pains might be K's story. There was all the drama & hate he went through during i-land & it's aftermath... Maki reminds of me Jake in ENHYPEN. Even though I didn’t watch the &Audition I did watch the finale and Maki caught my attention. Visual and vocal. They all have visuals and vocals. Even though K, Taki, EJ and Nicholas didn’t make it to ENHYPEN they belong with &Team.

58:56--this is the same face I made when I watched the dance practice. 😂 Because I was a HUGE I-land fan, and because I was totally gutted when K got sidelined at the end of the show, and because I was so psyched to see K & EJ in the Drunk-Dazed MV, it is (perhaps) inevitable that I was going to love &Team. But I'm absolutely stunned by this debut and feel absurdly proud of K, EJ, Nicholas and Taki (when did he get to be so handsome, our little Taki?!) I can't wait to see how this crazy journey Hybe set us on continues to unfold.

I clicked so fast when I saw your reaction to this, and this is one of my favorite debuts as well. EJ, K, Nicholas, and Taki are the only ones running because of the storyline in the Webtoon and Watpad web novel (in both Enhypen's and &Team's). The other members play a part but further along in the storyline.

not sure if you’ll see this but the reason its only the i-land members at the end of the extended version is because (spoilers for dark moon the blood altar) the other boys are investigating werewolf trafficking by the vampires (not enhypen), which eventually enha also join in also YES they have a HYBE OS (Original Story) department, so a dedicated team writing the storyline!

I listened to the ep for &team and it was really good. The music video for under the skin just added even more depth and makes me understand how good this song is. The fact that this team might already be in your top groups, PD, is so impressive and is a good sign, especially with groups like Seventeen and TXT in your top. Your praise is usually earned and isn't given to all groups, so when you really like one I know that group is a real gem and worth the listen. I am excited about what this group does in the future too!
