I was still 13 when I stanned Seventeen and Twice, 2015 Like ooh-ahh era and Mansae era. Now, I'm turning 21. I feel like when I write a summary of my life, Twice and Seventeen would fill the pages about my youth.

This is really the first title track that all the members were singing in their nature, comfortable, ranges. The mix of tones gives this one more depth in addition to a "darker" feel. Also, the layering of voices works so well here, like at the end of Dahyun's singing part before Jeongyeon starts the chorus, you can here Dahyun, Jihyo and someone else layers and harmonizing. Kpop needs to do this more!

THE SHOTS IN THIS VIDEO HAD ME SCREAMING, like this is the video Twice never got, I don't mind their usual video style, but I really liked this one and I understand why many fans felt like this video looked better than their usual videos.

I don’t know how Twice managed to do it, but recently it’s been hit after hit, transitioning from Cute to Mature and just adding to their huge reputation. Set Me Free and Talk That Talk are two of their best songs in an already immense back catalogue And that transition from Dayhun to Jeongyeon is AMAZING - visually, musically and stylistically. JYP is really bringing the A-Team to these videos. I wonder the next release we’ll see a full rap section between Dubu, Momo’s and Chae…

Overall Tzuyu here does it for me especially her last part in the chorus with the skipping choreo is just wow. And a small detail I love are the synths during the chorus that are on top of their voices during the Set me free part. For me this ties with Talk That Talk for favourite title track since Fancy, mostly because the chorus is rather long which allows for great variety which TTT lacked a bit, just the rap part here isnt really for me although I appreciate them for finally giving Momo more rap lines. Album is a good follow up to Between 1&2 and considering their current state of approach to the American market I think they did the right thing with staying on the synth/bass dance pop line, while also incorporating rock elements

I also love Tzuyu's singing voice so much, I always listen to her singing with my eyes closed, I enjoy it very much.

i loved Sana’s lower register in this song! i feel like this showed off her vocals very nicely compared to their other recent releases

jeongyeon is the editor, momo is the director and we also see chaeyoung painting which signifies that she's painting a new world.....hence that outer space scene. and by the end, they're all watching this 'twice movie'

I fully agree about the video, I feel like they could’ve leaned harder into the “movie set” concept but it fell a bit flat. Agree about Tzuyu too, she has been really grabbing my attention lately and I loved her parts in this song especially her final line (even though it took place in the scene you disliked the most lol)

Twice posted a video where the watched the music video for the first time. Tzuyu said that the red strings were attached to a belt that was fastened around her waist. Sana, who is in the pink frilly dress, said that it was so heavy it was hard to move in. She and Nayeon were supposed to follow Dahyun down the hallway but had to stop after a few feet because of the dress.

Regarding the transition after Chaeyoung's part, in one of the Twice behind the scenes videos, Chae said the meaning was that she basically painted the next scene. That is why you get that pixelated transition.

Talking about dark Twice songs, Perfect World is probably their best one. Definitely my favourite dark vibe from them.

They’re from an idol survival show called “Dream Maker” held in the philippines, though trained by Korean and Filipino coaches. Coach Bae yoon jung, Thunder, Jea from brown eyed girls, etc. were the mentors of that survival show and the group sounds promising. Would love to hear your insights about them because this is the first time for an all filipino boy group to debut in Korea this coming July. The only part I don't love as much is the trap breakdown/bridge before the final chorus. It was a bit shoehorned in there I think, it kinda lost the energy for a second. But idk because sometimes I think the same about Feel Special and it doesn't affect the overall quality of the song, some of the raps are a little random but it's part of the twice magic lol

I WAS WAITING FOR YOUR REACTION PD and YEAH me too I liked Moonlight Sunrise better but I love their choreography in this. But they did so well in presenting TWICE's beautiful VOCALS I was just a little bit thrown off by the placement of their rap part - they could've written it to be a whole verse rather than a bridge BUT I LOVE how they gave more rap parts to MOMO thank you Lord will be waiting for the listening party PD☺ I want to hear your thoughts on their b-sides especially since Dahyun wrote two songs in this album again. Crazy Stupid Love seems the NO.1 pick of all the b-sides by the mass (which was penned by Dahyun -- LISTEN TO IT GUYS! it's GREAT) with Wallflower being the 2nd (Sana's humming part in Wallflower will make you fall in love with her seductive low notes) but my 2nd fave is GOT THE THRILLS (like you would just like to put your hands up and dance to this song - FOR REAL - PLUS VOCALS AND RAP OMG! LISTEN!!)

I love this song and video. I think you are right, the video is a little thin (compared to Moonlight Sunrise and Talk That Talk). The song itself is a banger and I love the energy and choreo, and I give it 10 out of 10. And Momo is so cool. Her energy is more and more intense and she is a great actor. If you move to korea and find Seoul to be too pricey, I lived in Cheonan, an hour south of seoul and loved it. Super quick to get to seoul on express bus. Literally just an hour ride and super cheap fare. Found it to be cheaper overall but of course most people want to be in Seoul where everything is

the one critique you mentioned is something similar to Alcohol-Free right? from the last chorus the fireworks fill the screen matching every cut that doesn't feel empty when it transitions to another shot.

I realize this is waaaay late but a reactor said (and it's been to long to remember who) at the time this came out that maybe the Set in Set me Free is the set that they want to be free from and the fact that they blow the theater up 3 times and it's still there is because it's a SET. I didn't think much of it at the time but if you watch I Got You the new release the only set is the cabin of the ship, so now I think that reactor was correct. Seems like fate that I came to this video after that video. OT9 forever.
