I agree with you on the suited Mattel basic figures. So versatile and fun to have especially for fig feds or customizers if you want a specific superstar to be in civilian clothes or doing business outside of the ring, etc.

great list Kyle! here is my top 5 1. Mankind - Series 45 (got me back into collecting WWE figures) 2. Sting - Series 68.5 3. Ronda Rousey - Series 90 (started my Ronda collection) 4. Chris Jericho - Build a Paul Bearer Series 5. Nikki A.S.H. - Series 135 (might never get an Elite figure)

31k subs, Im starting to love the updated basics, since series 135 plus or whenever u could remove heads, next step removeable hands for custom figs without boiling heads off. Plus cheaper too especially the Showdown packs that this 46 yr old kid can play with and keep my loose elites in good shape.

I have three basics in my collection. I have a Hogan and Andre from that Wrestlemania III two pack and Nikki A.S.H. That blue suited Miz would make a great Vince McMahon custom. I need a basic Warrior for my collection. I have elites and Ultimates but no basics of him. Love that suited Ric Flair.

I have that Sting Basic 60. I love that figure. One of my favorite basics is the basic 53 AJ Lee.

Not really one for basics but I have that Flair you had at #2. Oh I have the Sid too but used the head on the Elite. Seeing that package reminded me of the BAF’s, a Top 10 would be great.

Very nice list Kyle! I agree that sometimes they just knock a basic out of the park, even if it's someone we akready have multiple of. I tend to buy basics of guys who would never get Elites. Zeb Colter would definitely be on my list. Dutch is probably one of my all-time favorites and it's great to have an official figure of him.

I haven’t had a chance to go through and make my own list yet, but one figure off the top of my head that would be right near the top that didn’t get mentioned here is the Basic 101 Sarah Logan. Something about that figure that I always really liked.

My list of top 10 basics a list of ONE: the only Basic I have is Corey Graves. The one thing that holds me back from buying more Basics is the leg articulation, or more accurately the lack thereof. Change that leg articulation to a ball joint (Mattel already does for the women), and you'd see me owning a TON more Basics. That one change would make a world of difference.

My favorite basics have to be the one offs from 2009 2010 2011 and a bit of 2012 some examples are Michael tarver, mason ryan, and alex riley

Some RVD basics they did with those colourful singlets are still very solid. Plus they're still using the same headscan to this day.

Like most people, I'm more of an Elite guy now than anything too, but they do still throw out some good Basics. Battle Packs 23 Batman Rey Mysterio, Battle Packs 41 Dudley Boyz, Basic 110 Mike Kanellis, and Basic 46 Jerry Lawler just to name a few.

That first Tatanka was a good base to convert into elite Sid Justice. Just need the head and pads from the basic and a pair of tall elite black boots.

Wow,great list,(Because I got most of them lol) I got most of these other than the Liv,the Dreamer,I also need Sting and Flair all though I got a decent enough one of both,I,d probably add one of the Brets,I haven't memorized the numbers yet,And also the New Gunther two pack basic with Ricochet is real nice,and the new pink basic of Roode and Ziegler are real nice also,I also have a pretty nice basic Kurt Angle

@@KylePeterson1980 Yes I get that but I always found it fascinating that it all started from one book, the first appearance, and the only reason they changed it to green was they were having trouble matching the gray from frame to frame. But yes, you’re right and I stand corrected. Keep up the great work Kyle, we love your shows!

Forgive me for I'm ignorant when it comes to Series numbers. Also, my list has a lot of pairings / tag teams because, for whatever reason, it didn't make sense to separate them. Lol Anyway, here goes: 10. Joaquin Wilde and Santos Escobar (black suits, normal faces. I use them as mafia henchmen in my figure photography) 9. Erik & Ivar (because they're big beefy boys) 8. Tucker & Otis (again, big beefy figures, you already know) 7. Flair and Giant (from the 2-pack. I put a green robe from an elite HHH on Rick, and put a custom NWO shirt on Giant) 6. Authors of Pain (I put "Staff" shirts and use them as Security guards) 5. Kane & Undertaker (2022 Wrestlemania Goes Hollywood) 4. Braun Strowman (any Braun Strowman basic because that's a big boy) 3. Hulk Hogan (from the 2-pack with Andre) 2. Sting (2015, I use him as a stand-in for AEW Sting alongside Darby) 1. Mankind (from the 2-pack with Austin. I love how he can blend in with Elites)
