WB Yeats' wonderful poem "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" read at the eponymous location, complete with waves lapping on the shore. A poem and a place of such tranquility!

Wow...! Thank you for posting this. Here in Tokyo, I hear lake water lapping everyday, in the deep heart's core. Want to visit the shore someday.

In 1988, I rowed a boat out to that island. Yeats was somehow all around. We rented that boat for 5 Irish pounds from a local Innkeeper.

Seems you made a pilgrimage. Can you hear the birds in the background? Gorgeous. Thank you.

We have named our house in Canada "Innisfree" maybe an island will rise out of the lake one day because that is all it is missing!
