I Just walked the Tunnel Trail 3 weeks ago. A 7 mile walk was a bit tiring, and my feet complained for 2 days, but it was worth it. As I was on foot I was able to get down some steps to the parking garage level and eventually a view of Hoover Dam. 4 Days later I visited the marina and the "beach." Got lots of photos matching the scenery in this video. Cheers, Ted

When we went to the Grand Canyon I thought the same thing. If the Grand Canyon was in California, it would be circumnavigated by razor wire

Hiked this trail many times when I lived in Vegas. I dont remember the connex box, though. I lived there from 1994 to 2001. We had a pontoon boat and was constantly on the lake. That was when it was really full. So sad to see the lake now. The dam tour is really cool....if they still offer that. Good review on the bike. Well done!

Of all the hundreds of times that I have been to Lake Mead I have yet to explore that awesome tunnel and trail system, I only live about less than 200 miles from there and I am over due, Thank you Trooper for this neat adventure.

the 1977 clint eastwood movie "the gauntlet" has a major scene they recorded in / through / around these tunnels where clint and sondra locke are racing around on a harley with a helicopter in pursuit and the helicopter ends up tangled in the tunnel-adjacent power lines o.O

Using bikes to commute to work in Minnesota in winter time is an exploding market. Any idea how that bike would work in the snow at zero and below?

E bikes are the only way I will be able to explore off trail. How do the the tires hold up? I will be mostly prospecting in the desert. Will it charge of of solar or 12v DC? Thanks for the videos, they encourage me to get back out there.

The tires are great just get some good tube sealant. Solar or a 12v DC to AC inverter will charge it no problem.

lool, the suspension is there for the ride I dont even run my mountain bike below 30 never ran em soft.

With these "fat tires" you can run around 5 psi and take all that stress off the suspension components.

@@RemoteTrooper but the components are made for that, when I spent 1,458 on my mtb 10 years ago, I asked if the bike could handle what I wanted they said yes.

You're complaining about guard rails when flying by pedestrians and not walking your bike through tunnels. Show some respect, it's a trail.
