I like LAL taking a flier on Griffin, ATL didn’t play him much. Maybe like Dejounte & AJ to LAL, DLo if he opts in to a 3rd team, (SAS? ORL?) then P17, JHS, ‘29 1st, and a ‘28 swap if needed to ATL. LAL could send whoever opts in out of Reddish and Hayes to the 3rd team along w DLo, ATL sends them Gueye and a 2nd, and that 3rd team sends expiring $ to ATL while also saving them $ for this yr. Not a ton, but like 8M or so would help them a lot. So LAL gets Dejounte and AJ, ATL gets JHS, P17, ‘28 swap, ‘29 1st, & expirings from team 3. Team 3 gets DLo, a second or two, Gueye, and sends ATL expirings that’ll save them like 8M or so. I like it for e1. LAL would still have ‘31 1st and ‘30 swap, Vincent contract, then Dejounte, AR, AJ, LBJ, AD, Christie, TMLE, Prince, Vando, Rui, maybe Dinwiddie signs for cheap, and a solid backup C. They could still move Vincent and like Lewis, maybe one more contract for a guy making like 13-16M. Or if they wanted to make a bigger trade, Rui and Vincent plus a 1st plus Lewis could get them a guy making like 30M+. A LAL ‘31 unprotected 1st is valuable too w high upside. It’ll depend on what DLo does obv, but I do like Dejounte there if they don’t have to give up more than P17/a swap and a 1st and they get AJ too. Dejounte, AR, Gabe, Christie, AJ, Prince, Vando, LBJ, Rui, AD, Wood, a good traditional backup 5, TMLE, Dinwiddie or someone who can be a bench guard and at least be a secondary ball handler. Like Lonnie, Melton, someone like that. That’d be 14 guys, and they’d still be able to move a pick and a swap or two with Vincent and w/e salary. For the backup 5 I like Goga if he’s gettable. In ORL he has an off and on role. He wasn’t in the rotation for a while. In LAL he’d be the backup C. When AD doesn’t play he could play like 28-30min and the rest to like Wood/Vando or w/e.When AD plays he’d prolly play like 15-18min. Goga is good, and might be able to get him for the TMLE. Like a 1+1 at 10.637m and change. Then he could opt out, get another 1+1 at like 2/12.765M. So he’d make 2/11.5M, then LAL would have early bird rights and be able to pay him more than his value. He could re sigh w ORL, but idk how much PT he will get. If they offer him like 3/1, even 3/18, if I’m him I’d rather take the LAL deal. 2/11.5M, then LAL could give him up to like 18/y or something. He wouldn’t be worth that much unless he took a huge leap, but if Orlando or another team offers him 3/15-3/18, that 2/11.5 where he’s playing like 20-24MPG and starting some is huge. Then after that I think he’d get around the MLE or a bit less from LAL. In 26-27 the proj mle is like 15.56M. LAL would have early bird rights so they could give him around that. Say he turns down 3/21 even from another team to take the 1+1s w LAL. He’d lose out on a few mill in those 2y, but then instead of making 7M Y3, LAL could likely give him something around 12-14M/y with a player option, and offer him way more PT. So over 6y he’d make about 52-60M in LAL, vs 3/21 elsewhere where he’d have to prove himself as a high level backup to get more than 10/y. If he signed 3/21 then 3/30 elsewhere that’s 6/51 total, less longterm, and he’s young enough to where LAL would want him around in the longterm. Maybe ORL offers Goga like 3y/$42M+ and then it’s end of story he’d take that…but if it’s more like 3/18, 3/21, or like 2y at the room exception (2/16.4M) or so, at worse LAL could do 2/11M and change 1+1 in 24-25. So 5.2M. Opt out, sign the 120% non bird rights for 6.227M in 25-26 w 6.54M PO. So he still gets the security of the player option both years if he gets hurt, but if healthy can 11.7M in those 2y, opt out, and the MLE in 26-27 will be 15.56M. So it’s only 1/5.5M less than the 3/21, and then LAL could give him up to like 4/68M+. He’s young so he’d prolly agree on like 3y/42-45M with a 3rd yr player option, or like 4/60 with no option. W/ the cap rising 10% every season after 24-25, locking guys in for 4y deals is good for the team and the player gets life charging cash. A good backup C in a cpl years will be making like $12M/y, and really good backups will be at more around 15-18M/y. Like I said the MLE in 26-27 will be > 15.5M Y1. So even if a guy takes a bit less than the full MLE, say 12.5M Y1, that’s 3/39.4M or 4/54M or so. That’s 3M+ LESS than the MLE! Even the room exception in 26-27 is proj 9.688M. Thats 2/19.864M, or 3/31M. Solid bench players (not even 6th men, like good 7th men that are in ur rotation in the regular season and play some playoff mins) will be making 10M/y very soon. Cap in 24-25: 141M (12.85xM) 25-26 155.1M (144.145M) 26-27 170.61M (15.56) 27-28 187,67M (17.1M+) 28-29 200M+, 205? (18.828M) So by 29-30 at the latest the cap will be over 200M. And the MLE will be like 18.8M in 28-29, and well over 20.5M in 29-30. Even a full NTMLE deal in 28-29 is piles. 2/$38,597,400, 3/$59,308,200, 4/81M. Sorry for the long post.

There’s certain coaches that you can change their names. It’s usually low rated coaches.

you have to fire the original coach and sign a coach with a generated face before you're able edit the name and face of the coach. it seems like you let didn't resign Ham after the season and the Head Coach spot was probably empty. if you signed Stauffer when that spot was empty, you won't be able to change his name BUT if Ham had been there, and you fired him to sign a fake 2K coach with a generated face, then you would be able to change the name and face of the 2K coach.. weird 2K thing but it works as I do it for all of my high school, aau, and college MyNBA scenarios. so once you fire Stauffer, sign a 2K generated coach and you'll be able to change the name and face *ps* you can always edit the coach's stats and make him comparable to a new head coach instead of being 5 stars everything. that's available when editing any coach
