Жыл бұрынWe heard about a collection of Tri5 Chevy’s being Auctioned in the town of West. Little did we know just how large this collection was. I went in hopes of grabbing a parts car for the FORGOTTEN 55 GASSER. Jason Went for a 77 Chevy Short Van, and a GBody Wagon, and my buddy Chad went for a 58 BelAir, and a 50 Chevy. Did we come away with anything good? Let me know what you thought of this insane auction in the comments below. Places like this are fading away day by day. Get out to one near you and save these Hot Rods from being crushed!

Hey thanks for coming along with us. It truly was amazing to see, I tried to get a parts car but just too rich for my blood that day lol. But at least they were all saved and not sent to the crusher before either being built or lending good parts to other cars.

I saw the ad for the auction, or at least an auction in west. Looked like some nice tools and equipment. Cant wait to see the Tri5s Always Be Scribin'! added: gonna need a link to this cement surfer, did the googles and came up empty should have checked that grand prix for an aluminum core support, an A stamped in there signifies it

Awesome video Ryan killer auction. I'm steadily adding to my collection every day. Wish I had them at home but the wife says no way. So the shop gets fuller and fuller. lol.

15:38 Yep, it's from Iowa. The previous Iowa title was transferred to Texas in 1981. It has a legal issue I'm trying to get corrected. This is a VC VIN number car. Lots of rot.

Boy, I had seen a walk thru of this yard some time ago and never figured this was the same place until you showed it. This has got to be the same place Cmintsurfer got the '57's from. I wonder who got the red '57 gasser? That would be a great build to follow too!

Never been to an auction. I would get too frustrated. Seeing little parts here and there I needed mixed in with random stuff. Only to have some else swoop in and snag it out from under me…

Auctions are a very unique activity and really lets a guy in on the vast differences in people. Kinda like a trip to wally world. Know what you are bidding on, what is and isn't included, and for all things holy, have a limit on what you will spend on an item/lot. VERY easy to get carried away. Also be aware of any buyers premium that gets tacked on. AND, like Jason, be prepared to go home empty handed if the stuff gets bid into the stratosphere. Always be Scribin'

It’s a seamed box. They had a California chassis (box tube) next to it but it went for 700.00. I meant to clarify boxed front end when I filmed it.
