Each continent on our planet boasts its own records. Some have the hottest place on Earth, others the coldest, the driest, or the wettest, and so on.
We have covered nearly all of these in our previous videos.
However, there is one unique continent that holds the most records of all.
In fact, it is a record in itself.
Because it's the largest. The most diverse. And the most fascinating one.
With a population of over 5 billion people, it is home to more people than any other place on our planet.
It's not hard to guess that we are talking about Eurasia.
In today’s video you will learn:
What epic cataclysm led to the formation of Mount Everest?
Are there monkeys in Europe?
Who invented numbers and what does Eurasia have to do with it?
And who actually discovered Eurasia?
Eurasia.

If you're classing Eurasia as a single continent , then Europe itself would be the world's largest peninsula , not the Arabian

How is Europe a peninsula? Europe and Asia are totally connected. I suppose, if you're just calling everything from Poland and Romania westward as Europe then Europe could be a peninsula of Eurasia. Norway and Sweden could be another peninsula and maybe Turkey yet another. But Europe, as it is currently delimited, could not be defined as a "peninsula" of Eurasia.

Mostly arbitrary facts about a large land mass that would apply on a smaller scale to virtually any other land mass.

Isn’t it strange how places are only considered discovered once someone from Europe has “Discovered them”. Eg aboriginal people’s of Australia had lived there for 1000’s of years, America was home to native peoples from are arctic ring to the lowest part of South America 1000’s of years before “Discovery”, China, India, Africa etc had native indigenous peoples for 1000’s of year’s before “Discovery” by Europeans. Also there has been proof of “Discovery” of lands sometimes 100’s of years before famous discoverer’s, but yet because they may not have been famous or backed by either ‘Royal decrees” or “religious decree (RC) then they were never officially Discovered. However the Silk Road had been around for 100’s of years before 500 BC.

Why do KZfaqrs put so many ads? Monetization is a highly vital element for KZfaq creators and the ecosystem. The creators earn from the videos by implementing ads in between. The ads act as a primary revenue for the creators. When the creators can monetize their content, they will also increase their production quality. this is clearly an attempt to get rich quick therefore let it be stated tha for up to one hour of content i will unsubscribe if you choose to place more than 4 you have one week to comply this video has way to many and i find your videos very fun to watch but i have a limit. you have been warned i have had it.

How so? A large interconnected landmass which is either completely disconnected from or almost completely disconnected from another such large interconnected landmass. That makes for 6 continents. Now, if you want a continent to be a large completely disconnected landmass, then there are only 4 continents, with Eurasia connected to Africa and the two Americas connected, plus Antarctica and Australia. However, in this latter context, I don't think Antarctica and Australia would even be considered as continents, as their areas would be simply way too small in comparison to the other two. Six makes more sense for the term to have any real significance.

Eurasia is a misnomer, Europe isn't a continent. It is only called one because the the go of the white men in times past cannot have it any other way. The continent is rightfully Asia only. I believe the first people to rightfully traversed across from Asia to Europe, was the traveling merchants on the ancient Silk Road. There are too many inaccuracies in this video, with a lot skewed towards European.
