don't worry! microwave radiation is harmless to people. it's more like radio than gamma rays, so it doesn't have the energy to damage DNA. really it only works if it's trapped in the box and given several minutes to heat up the water in the food- the real issue is that the damn thing is broken lol

Fun fact: that sandcastle was built entirely by accident. A bunch of guys found each other at the beach and started building, and their wives simply forgot to tell them it was time to leave, so they kept going.

It's actually very stable against rain, it last for weeks to months even with rain. It's a special kind of sand and compressed very much. I remember seeing a video were they used high pressure water and even flame throwers against such sand castles and it didn't really break.

It was built for a sculpture festival. When it's over, they probably gonna clean it up. But it won't be so hard. It's built in a small city at the coast. They'll just shove it over to the beach. Also, they built it while having in mind that after the festival it is going to be destroyed. Kinda like the principal of a Buddhist sand mandala. Just without Buddhism maybe.
