The final 3 boxes from the largest order I've done in a while, a $2,000 order of untested camera equipment. Weighs in at over 300 pounds with 14 boxes to go through. This is the SEVENTH and final video in a multi-part series to go over cameras/camcorders and lenses in this lot, test everything, see what works, and assign a value. Tons of unique digicams, bridge cameras, high optical zoom point and shoot cameras, and mini DV & Hi8 Tape camcorders make up these 14 boxes. They include brands like Nikon, Sony, Canon, Olympus, Fujifilm, Kodak, GE, Polaroid, Panasonic, Minolta, and many more. Recycling and bringing cameras back to life, as well as making some profit along the way is what I'm after!

One thing I can say is the Nikon Z fc saves me on the tremor disorder that I have. The anti-shaking feature works really well.

That's awesome! Technology sure has come a long way....Sony has some premium Handycam camcorders that have an independent optically stabilized lens that behaves in a similar fashion and acts as a sort of a gimbal, which greatly reduces or eliminates any sort of shake.

The LCD screen is suffering from the colloquially referred to as vinegar syndrome. The acetate layer of the polariser has turned to acetic acid producing a sourish smell but once dried, you'll see those roundish white patterns on the surface. At it's terminal stage, the layer will start peeling off from the edges- you can reglue a new polariser then.

Binged the whole series, and learned quite a lot about digital point and shoots, which I don't use at all. The last boxes where quite disappointing, but all in all it looks like your work with that shipment will be paid. I myself do similar stuff, but with analog cameras from the early 20th century to the 70s of last century - as soon as a circuit board is in the camera or the body is mainly made of plastics I stay away from it, otherwise I might buy it, clean it, sometimes repair it, test it and usually sell it with at least 100% profit as a tested camera or lens. Best value, btw, I do find in bulk sales of analog auction houses: I've made the experience, that those businesses do know about the worth of china, antique furniture or paintings, but have no idea about the worth of old cameras, when they are not labeled Leica or Hasselblad.

Thanks a ton! Wow-that's awesome to here in regards to film cameras! I occasionally get some film stuff in, but rarely. The neatest stuff I've sold vintage wise is a few untested Alpa cameras that based on lack of sales history on eBay gave me some idea of their scarcity. Great tip too-thanks!

Some nice camaras in that lot. Big fan of Nikon. Got the Nikon Zed fc and the I AW1. Love the pictures and video they take. Just wish the 1 AW1 would connect to the Nikon app.

Such a lovely journey from beginning to end. Thank you for bringing us with you through it! One suggestion. I bought a camera and lense combo from eBay that was tested as working (which it does) but can't go above the 5.6 aperture or it gives a lense error. Might be a good thing to test for. Also, have you considered creating a Patreon to help pay for more boxes?

The only thing I hate about the canon AE-1 is its reliance on batteries, other than that a great camera with a decent value.

Thanks! Yes, I plan to make a video on the AE-1's, I've now got I think 4 or 5 stacked up! I am cleaning up the office now, so hopefully will be clean enough now to show, I was a little self conscious as there was stuff everywhere! ☺

Fun series, I used to hunt the thrift stores for the old "metal" cameras, for use as props so this brings back memories. I would like a follow up in a few months saying how many sold (% & number and value). Good luck.

The Spectra is awesome! I have one and it’s basically a medium format instant camera. You get a very artistic look and I highly recommend it for more modernist photographers

The Kodak 35 is a Kodak 35 KODEX NO.1 Anastigmat Special from the late 1930s. It does not take batteries.

The CanonAE1 needs a battery in order for the shutter to work.

Quasar by Motorola. Wasn't a Canon shooter back in the day but some "auto" film cams would still shoot at 125th of a second if the battery died. Canon??? Not sure. Still have my d100. 6 mp's as I recall with a ccd sensor. Took great pics for its time.

Some of my Maxxum lenses have the rubber grip whitish like that. What do you use for restoring the rubber?

I use Mothers "Back to Black" restorer. A little bit goes a long way, and I've found it to work quite well over the last 4 or 5 years since I've been using it.

i love your videos, however i cant help but cringe at the shaking of the instant photo D; even if it was a test shot, you should let people know they arent supposed to shake them. also, new Spectra film for polaroid spectra cameras isnt made any longer!
