I've waited a loooong time to make sure that I got the right idea and the right skills for the production. Especially on these BIG drums (There are called "Taikos), I wanted them to sound MASSIVE and that is hard to do in production.

@@tjtheknowledgeseeker7878 She is a victim, tho. Never received any real love from anyone, trapped in her very own perfection. Zuko was loved by his mother. Then, he had his uncle, who never gave up on him, and helped him find himself. He had a chance for redemption. She never had any of that. She was doomed to just be the villain from the start, never had any real choice, when her own mother rejected her as a child. Her only parental figure was a megalomaniac psychopath, so she became a megalomaniac psychopath. Except deep down, she's really just a lonely child looking for admiration, but really craving love. To me, she's one of, if not the most tragic character in the show.

It's such SAD music. Which I love, because there was no actual triumph in the Last Agni Kai. It was two kids being so broken by their circumstance that they had no choice but to fight each other. They were brother and sister. There was a time they got along and were actually siblings. And this is what it got reduced to. Nobody really wins here. It's final tragedy. Beautiful rendition.

Couldn't agree more and I always well up with tears when i watch this. Zuko got to experience the love and presence of a father from uncle Iroh whereas Azula never got to have that love despite having their Ozai present in her life, but devoid of the love of a father 😔.

@@DerLetzteTag23 I definitely recommend watching Legend of Korra. If Aang and his air bending represents freedom (which is the goal of the show at the end), then Korra as a water bender represents change. LOK while being different to ATLA brought in a different focus of philosophy with it's theme of change. Especially mental health as well. Aang is someone I remember as a hero - he defeated evil without having to take lives, his battle was between good and evil. He was about bringing freedom to a world of oppression. Korra is someone I remember as a person - she went through such great changes. She suffered so much, her battle was within herself. She brought change to the world that needed to move forward.

I am so glad they chose music like this, it made it suddenly clear how absolutly Tragic and Heartbreakingly _wrong_ this Agni Kai was. Brother and sister fighting because of the warped and terrible treatment of their father, because of the atrocities of their Grandfather, bcause of 'honor' and 'pride'... it really suddenly throws into focus that Azula might be a Villain, but she is also Zukos 14 yo younger Sister. She is supposed to be to zuko what Katara is to Sokka and yet, here we are.

Looking back watching the scene. I felt that neither sides are the winner, There was no winner in the scene just a heartbreak battle between siblings trying to kill each other. There is no epicness just outright pain, Azula's upbringing and downfall were by far the most tragic. There's no honor and death seems the be the only option in Zuko's eyes. I couldn't help but wish, that it didn't have to be like this under any circumstances. There are so many lines being crossed that can't be overlooked.

Most of my expectations where met good and bad, however the suble story telling and arcs of side characters impressed the hell out of me. They managed to write such unique and wonderful story arcs and a deep world with a long history and consequent thought out mythos and put all of that so subble in there that it still kept beeing a light hearted kids show. Thats honestly impressive

There was so much emotion that the creatures captured in this piece alone. We all knew that it would eventually come down to this. Like Azula said "the showdown that was always meant to be". But that didn't mean it was something Zuko was really prepared to do. The way he must have been feeling as he fought his little sister, quite literally for his life and his country, is unimaginable. What I absolutly love about this song, is that in all ways it is this grand number. This huge piece that swells inside you and fills you with anticipation, dread, and power. What comes next will be a grand battle, the last of it's kind, and it's conclusion will set the course of a nations history. And it's so sad. It is desperately sad. Like an inevitability. Like a horrid twist of fate. It's a grand battle of good vs evil, but its also a depressing fight between a brother and sister. Two siblings who were broken and twisted by the nature of their land, and their parents. One who has risen from that darkness, and the other who has wallowed and been consumed by it. A dueling of two fates perhaps either could have suffered, and the conclusion that must end here.

Oh yes. You can see it in the fight itself. Azula is running circles around him, hitting him from any angles she can with everything she has. But Zuko does not move. Sure, we see him pushed back from the sheer power of their attacks, but he remains on his feet, remains in place, matching his sister blow for blow and pound for pound. For so long, she was superior. Today, on the great day of the comet, though? Zuko stands. Had the fight continued, he may well have prevailed outright, but I don’t think that was the point.

Your rendition of the song is a masterpiece.I love how you stick to the original song yet you made it your own with adding a few harmonies an extra notes to give this song more and complexity. When I first listen to this version of the last Agni I got shivers down my spine and I could feel the power and emotion behind the beautiful. Keep up the amazing! 👍

I love the fact that they have both the Blue Flame for Azula and the Red Flame for Zuko. This was a great battle between two sibling Warriors and also Great Tragedy.

The urge to write down an intense analysis on the last agni Kai and its tragedy is sooo strong😭. If i started talking to someone about it I'd never stop😢, this shit's just too beautiful and tragic, i can't- I teared up a few rimes throughout atla but i shed proper tears the moment azula broke down in tears. That poor girl was in some serious pain😢. I saw someone say that azula breaking down is her roman empire and i totally agree cause its mine too

The first few seconds have me covered in goosebumps and close to tears. The comments already said everything, but the way you captured the solemnity of Jeremy’s original OST is just so beautiful. There is nothing to be celebrated by Zuko’s victory or Azula’s defeat, only pity and regret. You’ve done such a great job with this cover that I’m so surprised that I haven’t subscribed yet - let me change that for you

To this day it wasn't just a sibling rivalry gone wrong. It wasn't just a who's gonna rule the fire nation. It was a fight for the SOUL of the fire nation. You can almost hear the roar of the fire powered by the comment behind the music.

Avatar: The Last Airbender... there will never be another show like this ever again. It's extremely difficult to find anything bad about it as almost everything about it is... well... perfect. The Lively World The Characters The Down to Earth Writing The Proper Handling of Political Themes and Undertones The Visuals The Music It's easy to see why it's so beloved and even relevant to this day. If you haven't watched it yet, you're missing out.
