The Last Boil ---Maple Syrup 2024 #6

5 ай бұрынThis was the last boil of this 2024 Maple Syrup Season. Collected just shy of 500 gallons of Sap, bottling up exactly 12 gallons of finished Syrup. This boil we had the opportunity to host some guest from the neighborhood.

Nice Joe was a great season to watch you. We did our last boil today ended up the a total 13 gallons plus or minus. lol can wait till next season.

I noticed the same thing with my syrup. Not much of a gradient this year. Great season Joe, thanks for sharing!

Sixth week here in MN, they're still pumping the sap. 30 gallons so far out of 50 taps.

@@YoungbloodFamilyFarm I'm not very experienced, will they eventually heal over? Or will they keep going until the weather switches?

@@EricCarlson-bz2ptyou know if they keep cycling regularly they will stay flowing for quite awhile. Eventually they will close. My first year out season was 6 weeks, we made 6.5 gallons on 13 taps.
