@@SpaghettiPlays You forget the most important things: They put in more hours and when your domestic league is very strong, you are forced to improve to stay ahead of the curve. EDIT: The best way to find out if it is a player-diff or League diff would be to place the top NA and EU teams in LCK or LPL. Give them a season or two to compete and adapt to the League and get used to the level of competition. Atleast they could do it with the NA-teams, their league is dead anyway and Korea isn't that far away.

G2 almost did it, well they owned LCK for the entire year of 2019, but LPL stomped them...Misfit was also close when they fought SKT. I think it all comes down to the amount of time invested into the game. Some of the LCK and LPL players are insane, beause they observe everything, the cooldown, the objectives, which abilities did their enemy level up first and such, I never see LEC or LCS does it, it's the details that matters, skill gaps are easier to close but mindset and strategy is what LCS and LEC needs to work on, also LCS treat the audience like kids, doesn't matter how shit they are they know people will support them, so they don't care about the result, which is another reason they don't improve because they are well protected by their fans.

EU and NA are both hopelessly lost vs the eastern teams in league western esports fans will have to stick to FPS if they want to cheer for their own region and have a reasonable chance of winning

It has always been the players that plays the game. G2 comp is okay but Hans Sama is so passive. C9 comp was okay but too many mistakes from the players.

Sad news, the talents required in LCK/LPL stage/KR server are very likely not the same people as NA/EU server drafted/naturally selected. It is already shown between KR and CN server, the people who have higher rank in KR does not neccessary also have higher rank in CN. And the worst thing is, even though top Chinese players train in KR server for years, their brain construction for league is already built back when they were play in CN server which is unhealthier than KR (but much better than NA and EU anyway), and that's basically the reason why CN players are generally much worse than KR players with same lp even after years in KR. (If u think that can be changed, think about the food flavour, ur lifelong preference will remain at least relevant with ur childrenhood preference, cuz you brain has "wired" in that way and the dopamine just naturally stimulate you in that way. Same with language stuff, culture stuff, personality stuff.) So this is totally a despair for you guys, as everything need to be shuffled, including a players life from a very early stage. It basically means that, there's no room for progress, Chinese pros has proved that to a certain extent. The gap can be closer anyway if u just send NA/EU teams in KR for a while for adapting the competition level (like even secondary teams in asia could do better than NA/EU top teams versus LCK/LPL teams, the gap is way too huge and that makes every actions of progressing look effective. Think about World Cup, countries Tahiti and Iceland could even win top teams, but it is impossible for NA/EU on league, it could not be described as huge difference, it's dimensional gap.), but you can never really as competitive as them.

G2 def did not have decent macro. Only time G2 actually won games vs Eastern teams was them throwing giga leads.

@@SergioMnl RGE actually knocked FPX out, and that was perhaps the single greatest choke job in Worlds history. Far more on FPX collapse rather than C9 being good

Honestly, at this point west should have 2 seeds and east should have 6. Maybe this 4x4 qualifier and then 2 best go to worlds, maybe just NA and EU. Because only 1 western team managed to get at least 1 game against east.

So basically the format based on the last split would be: Lec: Mad G2 BDS Vit/Koi (not sure who finished 4th) LCS: C9 GG Flyquest Evil Geniuses Duking it out for top 2 to qualify to worlds?

And this would give the west some hope to have a snowball chance in hell of upsetting a lpl or a lck team at worlds.

C9 is the new TSM lol they win lcs talk about how good they will be internationally, only to lose each time. Yea GG lost, but they were competitive vs JDG they sadly just fell apart in losing to c9 which is what usually happened to c9 when going against to tsm and letting them be the #1 team for NA. Everyone in C9 is overrated besides Berserker and if I was him I would go to LCK back or get in a lpl team.

C9 as a team have a big team gap over other teams. Fudge can have draft resources, mid prio, bot prio, and jungle having all the tools necessary to control the entire map. It's a lot easier to do well in NA when you're basically on the GSW. Any mistakes are small. It doesn't take much to pop off. That's the reason a lot of the best NA teams are never their top seed. They have to be a lot smarter and make plays to get leads as they gapped in lane from the LCS top seed. LCS top seed rely too heavily on hand gap to generate leads.
