They definitely could have. With a proper budget, it would look way better. This is no doubt done well, but still very obviously fake in most of it and you can tell it’s leaning more on the DIY side of animation. Not an actual studio. Though, still very good, especially for a minute long YT video.

That's a mix of amazement and suspance. That was really good!! I am also a 3d artist and it is really appreciable the hard work made in this animation. The realistic sound or better the absence give that touch of realism. I have a question but probably I am wrong: I think that the LEM hadn't an internal pressure so that effect of depressurization wouldn't be realistic, even if it looks better. Well done!!

I feel bad for the astronauts; they must have been quite terrified! Their bulky bright-white spacesuits offered them little protection against the creature. But it was entertaining to watch.

Fun animation. The moon in the background at : 06 & :40 was interesting. The reptile would require some oxygen-carbon dioxide ratio to breathe though. The lawnmower-golf carts are pretty accurate though. Complete with the stupid regular, non-shatter proof glass windows. Very realistic!
