Thanks for this bud! It looks really great, and I like how think it is! I've never been into fantasy role playing games, although I have a little knowledge from friends who are, but will anything in this book go over my head if I don't have that knowledge or interest?

No worries if you ain’t a RPG nut, story so far seems fine regardless of that. Just has that extra depth and lore if you’re interested.

Would you say there's any gutter loss due to the binding? Doesn't look like they added much padding to the inner borders so some of the text appears to get lost in there but I can't quite tell. Great video though, loved this series so much.

There is a bit for sure. Some spreads lose a bit as always but I don’t remember struggling with any text.

Thanks for sharing. Art looks very good. Cann't understand why making it standard size and glue binding though. I saw some negative reviews complaining about print is too dark and lose lots of details, comparing to the digital. Do you think it's that bad or OK?

Print is not that bad and I guess DC went this way as it’s not a ‘normal’ franchise or topic for them and so less financial risk? However when I look at the quality and complexity of printing on the dust jacket it might be the ‘old style’ print job was an artistic choice by the creators. Anyway knowing DC this might never get another version or that might be far in the future, so not trying to FOMO you, but picking this up might be the only option.

I’ve been enjoying Isola from Image comics. Not as dark as this but still a great fantasy series. Also Seven to Eternity by Rick Remender is great.

There is a definite ending to this book. Not sure on a sequel but I think there should be, considering the world building it wouldn’t surprise me.

No it’s a normal HC size, but chunky with 14 issues worth of content.
