The Shah was dying of cancer. He had lost military backing and the US made a HUGE MISTAKE not staying involved to keep a progressive regime in power. Instead they just evacuated the Shah, family and Shah's gold.

Well done to the Islamic Republic for preserving all of these historical items. Surely if it was another Middle Eastern country, the entire palace would have been ransacked and looted. Atleast the people can go back in time and revisit how the former royals lived.

That Shah had sold the wealth of Iran and thrawn the dignity of Iran in the garbage. One Iranian nationals living in France ( French passport holder also) once told me that Khomini was very good for the Iranian interest. Shah era was good only for F*U*C*K*I*N*G ( extra marital). I think these palaces were for the most part very elegant and quite lovely, but some of the rooms (especially the mirrored ones) strike me as gaudy and ostentatious. It's all a matter of taste.

Thank you for your comment Brad. Actually the complex includes several palaces. Each palace used to have a use-case in different period of time. I just covered interesting parts of the complex in the video. The whole complex is 180 hectare.

خود سے اپنے آپ کو فیلڈ مارشل بنانے والے جنرل و پاکستان میں مارشل لاء لگا کر صدر کے عہدے پر فائز ہونے والے محمد ایوب خان کے دور اقتدار میں جب ہم اسکول میں پڑھتے تھے تو شہنشاہ ایران اپنی فیملی اور اپنی حکومت کے وزراء اور دیگر حکومتی کارندوں کے ساتھ پاکستان کے دورے پر تشریف لائے تھے ہمارے اسی تعلیمی دور میں جنرل صدر محمد ایوب خان کو اپنا اقتدار ایک اور آرمی کے کمانڈر انچیف جنرل محمد یحییٰ خان کو دے کر سبکدوش ہوتے بھی دیکھا جنہوں نے بھی اس ملک میں مارشل لاء لگا کر قومی الیکشن کرائے جس کے بعد پاکستان بھی دو لخت ہو گیا پھر جب ہم تعلیم کے بعد ملازمت کر رہے تھے تو پاکستان کا دورہ کرنے والے شہنشاہ ایران کے زوال کا درد ناک واقعہ بھی سنا جس کے بعد امام خمینی کی قیادت میں ایران میں انقلاب آیا اس وڈیو میں شہنشاہ ایران کے محل کو دکھایا گیا ھے اللہ اسی طرح قوموں کے اوپر عروج و زوال لاتا رہتا ھے تاکہ سب اس سے عبرت حاصل کریں مگر افسوس کہ کوئی بھی عبرت حاصل کرنے کی کوشش نہیں کرتا اسی لئے مسلم امہ بے تحاشا دولت مند ہونے کے باوجود طاقتور نہیں کیوں کہ نہتے فلسطینی معصوم مسلمانوں کا روز مرہ کی طرح آج بھی قتل عام جاری ھے اس وڈیو میں قید کئے گئے مناظر کو دیکھ کر بھی کوئی عبرت حاصل نہ کر سکے تو پھر اس کا اللہ ہی حافظ ھے
