What can be said about the Last Kingdom? Brilliant! This is one of my favourite shows. Every season was finished perfectly and the movie ended Uhtred's story in the right way.
Alexander Dreymon did an incredible job with his character.

All the actors, particularly Alexander Dreymon and the king Alfred actor, deserve a performance award. They all acted excellently, true to the characters they personified.

It was an amazing show, and I quickly fell in love with Uhtred. I cried a lot when he died😭🥺, and at the same time, I am proud because now he is in Valhalla. He deserves it💗😚

I remember when I found this show on Netflix and it only had one season. I watched it and hoped that they would make another. 5 seasons and 1 movie later I can say that I’m happy they made more and continued on with the show rather than let it die with one season. One of my favorite shows of all time

Words can’t express how much I love this show. It goes as far as owning all the books and the Blu-ray’s. This is top tier series. S3 brings the greatest of them all. The story, plot, and acting are powerful!

Yo amo muchísimos personajes de GOT, de Vikings y de otras series. Y aunque GOT es mi serie favorita, Uhtred es mi mayor orgullo. No puedo poner en palabras las emociones que me genera este personaje. Alexander Dreymon hizo el papel de su vida. Destiny is All. Gracias por tanto, Uhtred.

Love this show so much i also like the ending it left the viewer to decide what happens. In the novel he dies an old man I'd like to think the Legend of Uthred lives on from generations

This video is beautiful… this show was a great gift to us! I remember discovering it and couldn’t wait for more❤ that whole scene with Haesten at the end…. Shit had me in tears because of their complicated relationship The ending 😢

Such an underrated show. Unfortunately it will always be overlooked because it came out after Vikings and while GoT was airing, The Last Kingdom flew under everyone’s radar.

In the beginning, the American audience ( bbc america ) did not want to see this series. Too much dialogue, too simple, too intellectual, too British. It was only when it was marketed worldwide that success came. That's the truth.

Ok, I had only read in one of Alex's last interviews that it started very slowly at the beginning. And since it was bbc and bbc America who broadcast it at the beginning, I didn't know who "Started" 😂+the critics understood the style And many other things (for example the soundtrack) not. I love Tlk precisely because It was not staged like GOT.

Your videos has always been good but for this video the first two songs you used didn't really click with the scenes but the last song was mind-blowing it was full of emotions coupled with the scenes in all you did great but I would have loved you try another song cause the scenes in this video is very good it covers the journey of uthred, Just my kindle opinion tho ❤️

In reality Uthred was a son of ragnar with Tora in Denmark,2 Brothers got a empire in Dänemark,and the commander of the other Brothers in Norway-Kattegat was Ivar!And the fight against there Brothers was only one time in Dänemark,but in the End after the fight they stay loyal together!Thats Informations from Runes!The Problem is i dont think His real Name was Ragnar,because this Name is Not found anywher!A Name in approximately!

@ebipade_oweifie He was a fable and weak ruler especially with how trash his honour was as if uhtred taught him nothing; and they made him gay which made no sense. They should've made it a final season, so those 13 years since Edwards' death up until the seven kings must die war didn't feel like days. This woke nonsense is crazy. Nothing in Athelestans history as king ever suggested that he was gay or bi. And ik Alfred had his own faults in his early days too with prostitution but he changed. They just did this for the sake of lgbt promotion. Common netflix (L)

It doesn't matter, Alex presented the uhtred credibly. It is more important to you that he has captured the character super. His impudence as a young guy and his superiority in battle.And so on

Okay, you see it that way. I see it differently. I love the books, as well as the series. By the way, it was only the series that made me read the books and become interested in English history as a German . It's not a bad effect, both for Cornwell and for northern England 😍I even looked at Bamburgh Castle 😄
