An elderly, miserly couple decided to make laddoos. After successfully preparing the laddoos, they found themselves in a quarrel over how to divide the three sweets equally between them. In the heat of the argument, they made a strange deal: whoever talked first wouldn't get to eat the third laddoo. Days went by, and the couple stayed completely silent. The villagers thought something bad might have happened to them. Then, one day, a fire started in their house. In the chaos, the husband couldn't bear it and spoke first. But unfortunately, the special third laddoo was lost in the fire and no one could eat that.
