This game messed me up man. I never played it. I watched markiplier play the first one and jacksepticeye play the second one. I started watching and finished TLOU in march. I rationed TLOU2 by only watching an hour of each episode every day. But when I got to the last episode I just couldnt continue. I watched the first hour but not the second. I didnt watch it till after a month. I finished it day before yesterday. I wish I could experience it myself but my country's on the region lock so we dont get xbox or ps games here. This game... It makes me feel this deep angst. Nostalgia. Emptiness. Like. Yearning for some kind of closure. Wishfulness. I am so lucky to have been able to experience this story but I got so obsessed with it. I literally could not sleep the day I finished it because of the impact it had. Theres a lot of things going on in my life right now but... I dont know. I just want to share my thoughts with a community that went through the same thing. Games like Red Dead Redemption, Telltale's the walking dead, TLOU. They make me who I am. Other games have also had a deep impact on my personality. Detroit: Become Human, the CoD MW franchise, Battlefield 1, Sea of Thieves. I just wish I could stop feeling this angst. I've been trying to avoid this feeling. Been trying to avlid even looking at anything which may remind me of Joel or Ellie. If you got this far, thank you for reading this. We may never meet, we dont know each other, but we both experienced an amazing story. So we share a special bond, unlike any other. Have a wonderful day and may you live and lead a good life

Thanks for these beautiful words. I went through the same with TLOU2 and I felt such despair after the ending and the whole game. But after a few more playthroughs I realized that even though the finale might feel angsty at first, I believe it is also hopeful. I think that the main characters are on a healing path now and I hope you find that piece of mind soon, too. Stay strong, you're not alone 🧡

Love how you described everything. I was actually one of those players who hated the game when I first played it, but as time went on? I gradually came to love the story and really understood what they were going for. "May your survival be long and may your death be swift"

I love what Gustavo embraces in his music, the twangs, the scratch as he moves up and down the strings, the echoing of the notes, those tiny little authentic, human imperfections, that make it feel infinitely more real. It's more present like you're actually in the room with him as he plays and yet somehow that still gives it this ethereal quality that ties back to how he calls The Last Of Us a "human epic". So grand in emotion, gravity and scale, yet so withdrawn, so personal, so close and true to the human experience.

The scene depicted in the screenshot is very important to Ellie's healing. All this time she could not forgive herself for shutting Joel out. But they reconciled the very last night before Joel's death. It doesn't matter that she didn't explicitly forgive her. The words "I'd like to try" where more than enough for Joel.

She does forgive him it's just that she didn't get a chance to tell him in person because of his untimely death and in a way you think that he somehow knows as his spirit can now rest in peace knowing that she learned about what a sacrifice really means.

This game was emotionally draining, big time. Sorry, edited my comment due to spoiler below, in case you haven’t experienced it. . . . And it sucks even more, I lost my Dad due to fkn covid in 2021. Now I have the somewhat exact feeling Ellie and yes, even Abby felt. *deep profound sigh

part 2 really got me thinking about all the characters story and emotion, its such a masterpiece to witness the last of us storytelling and it also got me messed up with everything that happen in the second game and I hope the third game will bring more things to come.

@@minatiryaki7651 olabilir tlou2 hikayesini seven bir kitle de var tabii, ancak birinci oyunun yanında hikayesi çok sönük kalıyor. oyun bana zorla gereksiz bir empati yapmamı emrediyor ancak ben bunu istemiyorum. açıkçası benim için büyük hayal kırıklığıydı. keza part 1'i 7-8 kez baştan sona sıkılmadan bitirmemin sebebi budur.
