I love that line "Call Joel, he'll take care of you.." - Because you just know that at some point he and joel had that very serious conversation. That if something were to happen to him, Joel would take care of Frank.

One of the greatest episodes of television ever made. This has to be what they submit to the Emmys, just throw all the awards at this episode.

I LOVE the storytelling change here. In the game Frank died a different way and Bill was still around. A jerk, bitter and awful, the person Joel DIDN'T want to be because Bill had no one to take care of. So Joel learned his lesson about connection without Tess. In this it's an example of what to strive for. Connection and for Joel that means taking care of something, someone. Beautiful storytelling, and it gets Joel to the same place, just in a different way.

Nick Offerman was not the first choice for Bill, but he was convinced into taking the role when the other actor wasn't available. I'm so glad he accepted. I couldn't have cast a better person for the part.

Nikki, most people watch reactors to see them get emotional. Whether it's laughter, anger, tears happy or sad and you did not disappoint. This episode was just incredibly written and acted.

A simultaneously beautiful and heartbreaking episode. I think I've only seen one reactor sit through this without crying, so you're in good company. I find that this episode hits differently for people depending upon whether they've lost someone to something similar or not. Speaking as someone who also lost someone to a neuromuscular disease, it hit me hard, too.

I find it strange how many view this as a sad story when its something we'd all be more than lucky to have. Spending a full life with the one you love and dying together on your own terms without excessive suffering. So many aren't that lucky and die alone in pain without ever knowing love.

I'm still a little sad Chad didn't want to stick with the show, but I'm happy you're continuing. This episode ripped my heart out. Give me gay prepper Ron Swanson any day.

If you think about it, Frank did eventually rob and kill Bill. Stole his house, piece of mind (never afraid until you showed up), and eventually took his life since he couldn't go on without him. Love gives meaning to life, but ultimately will consume those in it. But the alternative is not really much of a life at all, so it's worth the risk.

This one was hard for me as well I lost my wife to illness (She didn't kill herself but still) It brings alot back and then I watched ep. 5 and I thought thats it im done lol
