@@mr.stuffdoer8483 True. Even though Arcane isn't really a game adaption. Theres a whole other division dedicated to the lore of Runeterra that's not connected to the game. I guess you could call it a game adaption even though it's like a grey area. Even so. Yes hopefully this will be a banger.

Ashley Johnson, who voices Ellie in the video games. (She's also Pike in Vox Machina and Chrissy Seaver in Growing Pains) a ton of other roles will also have a role in this series to be revealed later, and I'm excited for that

Can’t freaking wait to watch this show, I love how it’s the story and characters we all know just retold in a new perspective also I love the fact that Troy and Ashley are in the show, having Troy as one of David’s henchmen is cool but the best out of the two for me is Ashley playing Anna Williams aka Ellie’s mom, having the original performer of Ellie birth her show counterpart is so poetically beautiful to me and I hope that the majority of fans give Pedro, Bella and Gabriel a chance at adapting these characters we all love

i hope the series is at least 10 episodes if not more, so that they can take there time telling the story and its not just scene for scene of the game. espically since, i assume it will be later in the series perhaps with flashback, pretty sure saw Riley which means Left Behind DLC. I wanna see stuff that couldnt be or wasnt in the game, or eluded to.

Ashley Johnson (Elli) plays Elli's mother (birth scene). Troy Baker is also in it but I didn't recognize him in the trailer. At least I can't say if he's one of the two full-bearded ones in the trailer.

I wonder if they included Tommy or Sarah in this story, either as a flashback or sth. I also really like to see Tess being a badass once more. Can't wait to see this show.

Tommy is played by Gabriel Luna and Sarah by Nico Parker. They are going to be in the show as much as they were in the game. Same role, same key scenes.

@@GabrieleTarallo No way! That wud be amazing. I still can't get those first scenes of the game outta my head, where Tommy tried to help Joel escape and that Soldier shot em. I hope they'd included that scene in some sort of flashback or sth, cause seeing that in Live-action would be so dope and impactful.

@@jake_gon_jinn It’s not going to be a flashback. It’s going to be the beginning of the first episode, just like it was the beginning of the game. The only flashbacks that I’m aware of are going to be the part taken from Left Behind (Ellie and her friend Riley when they were bitten) and the one of Ellie’s mother (played by Ashley Johnson, the original actress who played Ellie in the games), which is a show-original flashback. Both are probably going to take place towards the end of the season, when the focus shifts on Ellie following Joel’s accident

@@GabrieleTarallo so it's going to have a lot of similarity to the game in terms of storyline and stuff. In my opinion the OG plot line of the game and so many aspects of it is rich enough to make a TV show out of it even without a slightest change.

@@jake_gon_jinn The plot line is going to be the same , sure. If anything they are going to add minor things like new characters Joel and Ellie met along the way, or change some details about the characters and the places they visit. For example the Pittsburgh chapter is going to take place in Kansas City and we’re also gonna witness a rebellion against the Hunters, lead by a new character (the woman crying at 3:12). Also, Sam is going to be deaf and much younger than the game version. We’re also going to see a bit of Bill and Frank’s story before Joel bumps into him.

Definitely going to watch this. I haven't played the game, but I plan to the first chance I get so this is going to prepare me a little for the good and the bad stuff that happens in it. The actress that plays Elle I know her from a character she played in "His Dark Materials" show and I absolutely couldn't stand her character in that show to the point I wanted those shadow things to kill her off. If that character was meant to be unlikeable in "His Dark Materials" and Elle is suppose to be likeable in "The Last of Us" then I'm going to enjoy her as Elle. If she can embody a character and make you believe she's that character she's going to nail it. Enjoyed the trailer and the reaction 👍👍✌out.
