Welcome to The Last of Us Part 1 for the PC. I decided to hold off on purchasing this game for the PS5 because I knew I'd want the PC version. For this video I'll be showing some highlights from the first couple hours of the game. So far the game feels pretty good & of course the gameplay is a lot of fun. I see many people having issues with the game performance, I'll explain the fix here. Go to your GPU settings like Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D settings, Program Settings, find The Last of Us launcher, scroll down to Power Managment Mode, and select Prefer Maximum Performance. I had the same issues, the game will only utilize about 20% to 40% of your GPU without this setting, that's way too low for the game to run properly.

I'm glad that fixed your issue, but it didn't for me unfortunately. I really hope they patch this game soon.

No point, they will say it’s broken just to “be cool”. Negativity is cool like toxicity now. Which is why I now keep to myself unless I’m commenting here on KZfaq. Just like the people that suck at video games so they whine and cry until the developers make the game trash so they can play it. Gaming isn’t for everyone.

@@marquislexil What? No one's trying to be cool lmao, we're just trying to play the game without it crashing or stuttering. I mean, just look at the steam reviews. Most people are having this issue, and it's not just people with underpowered machines.

Yea it doesn't fix it for me.. I get an easy 80 fps on medium to high settings but my CPU has a utilisation of 95-100% while my GPU sits at 10-15% and I am also experiencing constant stuttering which really gets annoying tbh.

@@kride500 Yeah, it sucks cuz the game runs pretty good for me aside from the stuttering and mouse jitter, it's just the crashes.

I’ve got a ps5 and I agree I love seeing these games port over to pc from Sony like spider man aswell I think that as long as it doesn’t port to Xbox I don’t care pc is fine 👍

What difficulty is this on? I noticed your revolver can't one shot the infected and human enemies which is only available in Grounded difficulty

i think this is on Grounded, I dont see a health bar

@@chris_player2995 the game lets you disable the HUD on any difficulty in the remake, the only way to make it certain that it's on Grounded diff is to have the revolver one shot humans and runner variants of the infected
