Despite not being optimized for PS5, I found it interesting to do this comparison to test the backward compatibility mode and see what improvements it adds by default. However, the improvements are not very noticeable beyond the loading times. Unlike Xbox Series, PS5 doesn't seem to apply any anisotropic filter on textures. Hopefully the patch for this game doesn't take long to arrive, because I'm looking forward to seeing The Last of Us 2 at a new level of quality. A pesar de no estar optimizado para PS5, me pareció interesante hacer esta comparativa para probar el modo de retrocompatibilidad y ver que mejoras añade por defecto. Sin embargo, las mejoras no son muy apreciables más allá de los tiempos de carga. A diferencia de Xbox Series, PS5 no parece aplicar ningún filtro anisotrópico en las texturas. Esperemos que el parche de este juego no tarde mucho en llegar, porque tengo ganas de ver The Last of Us 2 a un nuevo nivel de calidad.

Yo diría que incluso se ve un pelín menos definido que en PS4 Pro, el leve filtro de nitidez no se aprecia tanto en la maquina de nueva generación.

its just crazy to see the ps4's evolution. look at games that came out in the beginning, and look at the games from the last 3 years, especially this year. we got games like tlou2, ghost of Tsushima, god of war, spiderman ps4, uncharted 4. like I'm just gassed to see where the ps5 takes us.

Mi recomendación para los que vayan a jugar por primera vez a la versión optimizada es desactivar el granulado de película que tiene el juego. La imagen les va a quedar tremendamente clara y ayuda mucho que el juego es una hermosura a nivel optimización. No le hace falta ningún filtro, sinceramente.

Hola, yo planeaba comprar el PS5 solo por los exclusivos pero me di cuenta que saldrán para ps4 también y pues no he jugado los que ya están ya que nunca tuve ps4, estoy pensando en comprarme un ps4 slim en mega pack ya que me sale por mitad de precio que el play 5 y disfrutar de todos los exclusivos a lo largo de unos 2 años más y entonces si comprar alguna revisión del PS5, me recomiendan hacer eso o mejor compro el PS5 digital ya que gastar $14,000 pesos o $600 euros en PS5 con lector no me parece buena idea

This game will remain one of the most detailed and beautiful games out there for years to come. I know some people weren’t happy with the story but you can’t deny the amount of work that was put into the game. Naughty Dog is always ahead of its time.

Load times and steady FPS is really what i want to see... on my Original (Day One) PS4 there are so many points where the frames lag right in the middle of gameplay and it would not feel good... If I changed it to Visually Impaired mode it would run so smoothly I practually played the rest of the game like that 😅

Seguramente el parche sera de rendimiento. 4K a 60 FPS y tal vez compatibilidad con lo nuevo del DualSense. No es gran cosa pero es mejor que nada.

@@kruse62 depende de la desarrolladora no de Sony la compatibilidad de la Xbox con sus juegos antiguos es mejor solo por qué Microsoft creo un programa para liberar el limitador de fps y ajustar la resolución pero en apartado gráfico todo es igual en ambas consolas por eso depende de las desarrolladora si crear parches o no , todos los exclusivos de Sony menos este ya lo recibieron

No its not about optimization the actual problem is Frame rate lock almost every game uses that. But in god of War u can play 60 FPS bcs u can open the lock but in god of War u cant get more FPS its just stable 60 FPS bcs they made another lock for that. So u can ask why? Why do they put a limit to that? Actually, they dont want to push the PS4 too hard. Like while i was playing rdr2 in my console the PS4 was a volcano, if they dont make a limit for 30 FPS the device would be dead. My English is bad So sorry for that.

Hola una pregunta alguien conoce el nombre del título de una promoción de the last of us 1 lo que recuerdo de ella es que se mostraba un infectado atado a una camilla de hospital y médicos tratando de curarlo sin éxito y también recuerdo a una mujer dejando sin escapatoria a una especie de bandido bloqueando le la puerta en forma de reja y dejando que la horda de infectados lo maten, sólo eso recuerdo pero no puedo encontrarlo por favor si alguien sabe de esto puede ayudarme ya que este tema me ha pasado por la cabeza por días muchas gracias y si tampoco saben pueden compartir esto con una persona que creen que puede saber quiero resolver esto de una vez por todas

The game looks gorgeous and run flawless on any platform. Incredible work from Naughty Dog. I thought that may have some struggle to run properly on PS4 but is surprisingly smooth.

Does PS5 get rid of that grainy upscaling that Naughty Dog games seem to have on the PS4 Pro?

The last of us part II is by far the best game I've ever played in my life I give the game a solid 10/10 I can't wait to see which will be "naughtydog's" next project. The uncharted series were spectacular TLOU1 and TLOU2 masterpieces. I'm looking forward to see what's coming next 🙏🏽

Deberías poner partes del juego donde realmente ahí caídas de fps, no en partes donde son estables todas para ver realmente cual tiene mejor rendimiento en cuanto a fps.

@@elsenorpapas6585 si entiendo eso, pero esas partes son fluidas yo ya lo eh comprobado en el juego, se cuales son las partes exactamente donde ahí caídas de fps me hubiera gustado que mostrara esas partes para comparar si realmente eso cambia en otras consolas es todo.

Super well done Comparison video! Bravo! Sad to see This and Uncharted 4 still havent gotten the 60fps treatment. Is it maybe coz it doesnt eaven run 60fps on Ps5 but like 45-55 and they would be ashamed? Remaster would be impossible so early on. I would personally only Buy PS5 when i see those at 60FPS. Is God of War 60fps?

Actually the best version is the ps4 pro version, the ps5 runs the base ps4 version I think, at least some areas look similar to the base console especially when comparing draw distances

Shoutouts to naughty dog optimizing this game. Even on the basic ps4 it looks incredible. I can only imagine how godlike it's gonna look if they optimize it for ps5.

The PS5 is just running the PS4 Pro version here. They're probably going to try to sell the game again, remastered for PS5.

@@killermatico27 y tu como sabes que no me gusto el juego? como usuario de sony, me gustaría que el juego este desbloqueado a 60fps como la mayoría de juegos ps4 retro compatibles. Un ejemplo seria el juego Ghost of Tsushima. Si the last of us esta bloqueado a 30fps, es porque es casi seguro que saldrá el remastered para ps5. Un ejemplo seria Spider-Man.

Nah they will optimize it. Doesn't make sense for them to make a remaster rn. Same thing happened with Days Gone, it got a free upgrade for the PS5. I just don't know why they're taking so long still. I mean the game even tho is running on backwards compatibility already has haptic feedback implemented.

I've used Xbox since 360, when I finally touched a PS4 last year the controls where so smooth and I loved the layout so much more that I abandoned my Xbox One and over $3,000 in games I had on my account and switched to PlayStation. My Xbox One now sits in my closet and never again will I use a Microsoft gaming console.

Now that you play PS4, I highly recommend Spider-Man PS4, Ghost Of Tsushima, The Last of us part 1, God Of War, The Uncharted series and there are probably more but these are a must play

Same : 8:00 The building and the truck on the edge look slightly sharper on the Ps4 Pro, while on the Ps5 it's somewhere between Ps4 and Ps4 Pro.

El juego es lo más brutal técnicamente actualmente junto con red dead redemtion 2 para que los desarrolladores matarse sus cabezas es tiempo es fuerzo que se puede utilizar para terminar el multijugador o un futuro DLC no es nesesario ningún parche
