Trying to stay afloat whilst behaving in a way to ensure we drown. Absolute madness! We have to acknowledge that a willful, ignorant, disobedient nature resides within us which we have to discipline for our own good.

Kindness is a blessing that resonates into our lives with each precious moment of being alive, it is so very exciting and so simple to be a person who loves life and has the wisdom to be kind. Living with heart felt sincerity and staying present in this moment to moment presence of peace and grace is a blessing to learn. The future is a mystery to unfold and the past is not a reality that is purely true and that is not helpful to focus on what went on in our lives before now. Now is the magic of manifesting and witnessing the miraculous newness of being present and powerful in our own unique heart's knowledge and delight in making our way forward with a wonderful opportunity for jubilation and celebration. Breathe in the air and enjoy your life regardless of what your ego is telling you about the past stories and the future. Life is now. Keep it simple and easy. @@caleb2242 I'm not the one to give any answers. But yes one needs to answer emails, hold on to that job, I feel. But maybe still take small steps to see through the ego -- that might be useful. I do know that Shunya addresses similar concerns but I'm not sure in which video you can find his answer. Anyways, good luck with everything😀

Life is more than any word can describe. It will literally take forever to describe everything, because what creates life is indescribable. The only way we can truly describe the essence of creation is through our own creations.

I agree, however (no rudeness intended) by creating we willingly use energy that we must replace for the current of life to be balanced. It's when we have no desire of desire that stillness erupts into witnessing what you have stated, the no-thing, the everything, the way, the current, the unexplainable/indescribable OG.

The first statement is correct, But LIFE has never been created. LIFE is Infinite and Original. Every Being was created by LIFE, even the Creator Gods and in turn the Creator Gods Created Universes. Life is the Supreme Being not the Gods. The Energy and Intelligence of LIFE is greater then Gods and Universes. There are an Infinite Number of Universes and Creator Gods in the Omniverse. We all come from the Omniverse, but it goes beyond that because it's the Infinite Nature of LIFE. I am not talking about the Parallel Universes of this Kind, in this Universe. The Parallel Universes of this kind all exist in this Universe. We are ALL a Small Spark of those Creator Gods having a Universal Journey in this Universe. We are learning how to create with the Concept of Light, Sound and Breath. And we will in time create our own Parallel Universes in this Universe. But there are other kinds of Universes, that can not be described with our minds and language. My main point is that LIFE is greater then Gods. God didn't create LIFE. The Prime Creator God, created this Universe. And also we are in co-creation with the Prime Creator, so we have created some of the Galaxies and Solar systems and planets.

This Earth and this Sun is very important, because they are a Direct manifestation of the Prime Creator. Not secondary creations from visitors like us. And so this is the most intense School in the Universe. Only very advanced beings can come here. This is why we are here confronted with the most advanced Evil in the Universe. Because we can handle it and defeat it.

Understand that there's no journey, you've never been on a journey, and to understand this is freedom. Those that believe they on some path veil themselves from truth. The seeker will always be seeking, because the very act of seeking is moving away from that which they already are. No, you stay in the presence of God by remaining present, by abiding in the silence of moment. Heaven is right here all around us, only we have to lift the veil of ego ignorance that believes in lack, limitation and separation. Realise, that we don't reach any level of higher consciousness, because we never were anything other than that supreme consciousness itself! So we don't reach up to, or follow a path, or be on some sort of journey. We have to simply unveil, unclothe or peel away the many layers of false egoic conditioning we've adopted.

If you're going to apply that logic you'll have to include God in all the horrible things of the world. If you can truly see God in it all even when the worst is happening to you, then I can accept your logic about everything being ok because God is in your joints which are your bliss. Otherwise they are just another polarity with pros and cons. Wanting one thing, pushing another thing away.

Shasnyamurti Sir, You are helping me so much It's like a gift which I almost missed out on. The Self caught my Ego out as if it were a theif in the night. I've been lucky enough to have experienced an "awakening" to the formless which I know that Ithe Self really is. The "i" spoken of in my comment is the single thought which causes our seemingly innability to awaken , and is itself a construction of the Ego. Brilliant Teachings, Thankyou.

Well if you tell yourself it’s only possible if you live as monk. At the same time this experience is whatever you want to make it. Granted indulging in lust and gluttony endlessly will have certain consequences for me there are no absolutes. The souls created this matrix and you can write the script and I do find the less ego stuff the easier it is

I listened to it again and this is so right where I am thank goodness I am what would it be open yes or oh I know I was thinking about this talk this morning and made me think this is what this experience is all about connecting to source and these malas how you explain it now very much makes sense with what I have been yearning for or not yearning but this despair and desolation I’ve experienced the last year has made me recognize this God/source connection is no joke not that I ever consciously mocked God it’s been a life long journey to find god to find meaning of who we are where we are oh and btw I’m in Costa Rica right now escaping from New York much love and blessings to you thank you for this transmission 🙏🏻

To be with God is to be free and you want that :) decide to be free not only of addiction but of Ego the couse of addictions :) and then you will receive power and when addiction trigger come lets say to smoke remember its ego true you/self is to be free & God and will stay that way, and then you will se the power to "resist" is there 100% i tell you from experience when you put God/liberation from ego as number one thing in your life you will see :)

Well the way he is describing it, it will take a few more lifetimes before you can start to go through all this. It's too complex unless you have become a monk for all your life, it's not for ordinary people living modern life.

Normally seeking is on a worldly level, then through exposure to the teachings one starts seeking God or liberation. That seeking and prioritising truth and real happiness above all else kind of purifies the attention from those conventional desires. This is because one naturally gives more of their life to the desire for realisation. Then one comes to the requisite subtlety to see that even that desire for liberation is itself an obscuration, because you already are what you've been seeking through objects and concepts and what you are is non objective, non conceptual. So what's to seek. You might think if that is the case, why seek, since one already is it. Well, the spiritual seeking just eliminates the prior worldly seeking and makes one's mind subtle enough that the light of no seeking can shine through. The truth is always there, it's just that our desires worldly or otherworldly tend to obscure that. Yet it seems you tend to have to seek like crazy to realise this haha However, even if you are finished with the spiritual seeking, it may not be finished with you. The ego can be fatally wounded yet stagger off and then die a little later on and that's really like a death, the great death. It reveals the unborn deathless nature of Self, it's non difference from the supreme and how the world is non difference from the Self also. Yet the Self is complete with or without manifestation, so there's no egoic struggle with existence and non existence. So that's a natural process, it's like the total manifestation has to completely dissolve so that the formless, complete nature of Awareness is realised, then manifestation reapears as non different, as divine because its just the play of my Self. The ego tends to limit my self to a parcel of the total manifestation, a particular bodymind. But my self is really the Divine Self and as such the universe appears and disappears only in that, it has no other existence of its own. It's a reflection in the mirror of pristine Awareness, take away the mirror, where is the reflection. One who has realised this may not always appear as some pious robbed fellow though. That would be a big misapprehension in my view. Well, just look at this quotation from Shri Dattatreya in Tripura Rahasya published by Ramana Ashram 109-12. The vasanas not inimical to realisation are not weeded out by the best class of Jnanis because they cannot seek new ones to crowd the old out. Therefore the old ones continue until they are exhausted and thus you find among them some highly irritable, some lustful and others pious and dutiful, and so on. So, a particular behaviour cant be expected from such a one in a way that you can determine their realization, even Ramana Maharshi said that... We know of many such examples of unconventional beings who don't fit the mould of the pious sage don't we.. are they less realised. It would be a mistake to think so. Piousness and the desire to dress up in spiritual garb is itself a vasana, a habit that is unrelated to any liberation.. That's why I really like this quotation from Shri Dattatreya, piousness and dutifulness such as the duty to awaken all beings, they're vasanas.. Say someone joins a monastery as a child and is conditioned into the value of saving all sentient beings. Does that have anything to do with enlightenment? Not in my view.. But the monasteries hope that if such a one does come to realisation then they'll serve the greatest good. Or if not maybe they'll get a good rebirth or heavenly attainment and so on. . Huang Po makes good distinctions between pious practices like the bodhisattva path and actual liberation, they're not necessarily related, nor do they have any causal relationship.

The way I see it is, we all are here not only to help ourselves but to also help each other. Shunyamurti teaches on his level to those people who can hear him and others are here to teach on their level to people who can hear them. Many people will not get to Shunyamurtis' level and they might need to see the advances of people in their "reach" to also yearn for a development - consciously or subconsciously. I rid myself of most of my addictions: smoking tobacco, drinking alcohol, smoking weed, eating fantasy foods. I was stuck with these addictions for over 20 years on a daily basis. Now i eat mostly fruits, incorporate regular fasting into my life and try to show people that life without addictions is so fabulous, you will float like a feather instead of walk with the cement boots of holding on to substance-fantasies and past traumas. The healing journey is a journey.

@@scannedforcontent congratulations you have gone beyond Shri Nissargadatta Maharaj and apparently Shri Auribindo and Ramakrishna Paramhansa too because they smoked and you have given it up. You see how silly it is to determine your 'level" by behavior. That said, cultivating sattva guna does prepare one to some extent and make ones system more subtle. However, there are penty of deeply unenlightened monks devoted to cultivating sattva guna, so we shouldn't confuse them. I'm not knocking your transformation, it's a beautiful thing to get free of addictions. I know I'm glad not to smoke tobacco anymore. It can be a drag to struggle with unwanted habits, but these little habits aren't the kinds of vasanas we should be concerned about. The real vasanas are the misidentification of consciousness with something objective, thinking you as an individual are the doer and so on. . Let's focus on that instead Haha

For me there is a twist with the word "understand" - If I do not exist there isn't anything to stand under. Thus going for standing under means becoming a kind of slave of the mentioned priniciples one ought to under stand. Also stating we must free from ego is another game emposed by ego.....The biggest ego trip is getting rid of the ego.... Therefore the stronger one struggles the more ego is affirmed. The funniest part of the game we are in is that there is no journey to go, since it means that the goal is somwhere in the future.... whilst all is now and will ever be now...

The ego is no accident. The ego is no illusion. The ego is as real as the flower. It has its place, its beauty and its purpose. To say the ego is just a program is the same to reduce the flower to atoms. The ego is the paint that God has used to paint the universe. Without the colours of the personality, without the paint there can be no artist. Thank you God for my ego and yes fundamentally I know I am God as God is I.

@@aceBOOM89 because life itself is a dream would say your third eye opened up long before you were born. Its just that you're consciousness heard then concept of 'third eye' and so the dream took on a new orientation. You're third eye is just a concept. Doing the dishes and being bored is just as dreamy (third eye) as being intoxicated through weed use

I remember hearing parts of a story about ancient profits boasting about how they would let popular culture tell the masses of the feats they accomplished in there lifetimes(not to sure about the accuracy of this comment but it's what I recall) when in actuality now that I think about that it was probably just the egotistical version of there story blown way of proportion projected back to them leading to the false beliefs that they were gods. ego tripping in the internet age is gonna get trippy.

This talk confuses me..I recently came across a talk from Shunya that spoke to the fact - we in this ego state are actually not the doers, everything is dreamt by the true self which we in our ego state thinks is us. If that is true, how can we decide in the ego state to do anything more than just live this life as it plays along? Surely any attempts we think we are making to look beyond the veil is actually just a storyline within the movie or illusion of life? And only if the true self deems it, we will automatically awaken? I know for a fact that my very brief awakening experience in life was not something I was actively chasing - it just happened. Since then I've struggled to progress any further because I realize it is not "me" the ego that is doing anything. Very confused now whether my understanding is right - but even that is an illusion hah! Would love if someone has any thoughts on this

Shunyamurti's response: You are partly right, partly wrong. The ego is illusory, but the Real Self is never separate from you, even when you are ignorantly identified with the ego. So the effort to attain Liberation is indeed a fiction, since the Self is always already Liberated from all illusion. However, the ego’s illusory efforts to attain awakening and Liberation are a sign of the grace of the Self. The more sustained the effort to silence the mind is, the more grace, shakti, and divine love will be poured into the mind and heart, until the ego simply surrenders, and the Self will be revealed.

@@satyogainstitute Pranam and many thanks for this response - when I wrote the question I was feeling so lost and direction less. Seeing this gave me joy that my prayers are being heard and I am not alone after all. Of course the ego immediately has so many follow up questions, but for now I am keeping them aside to continue the sustained effort as you have advised - however impossible it may seem right now, I suppose what matters is I keep at it. Thank you

It seems to be a combination of our collective and personal projections of our belief systems. One creates their own experience of what we call reality but no two of us see the same world. The world is a steam of information decoded differently by each one of us. Only someone who has transcended this process can see clearly what is. I listen to Shunya for he is able to help me see through my own projections and stop projecting which is only possible when all belief systems are abandoned and the mind is stilled.

Who is anyone to claim that certain others who don't follow your path can't know Universal Transcendent Love? Who's to say that the grateful mindful experience of 3D is NOT sacred? You don't usually disappoint me Graham. You don't have a monopoly on truth or God. Ego is not dirt, it's a beginner's vessel for reality formulation. As long as you think part of you is 'dirt', you're missing the action.

nataraja describes god ,that god is like a dancer ( nataraja) as one cannot separate dance from dancer, dancer is in the dance and the dance is within dancer... likewise God is omnipresent, present in all and everywhere and everything. and everything is within God just like fish in water and water in fish. Eeek. I loved all his teachings until this video. I've met source and what he's talking about is not it. True source does NOT want u to give up your humanity. True source is living thru each of us here and now and wants us to express ourselves and itself as much as possible. The nature of reality is source and source is Imbued in everything. Source is both good and evil. The beginning, the all, and the nothing. Source would never ask u to give up your human needs, wants and desires-that is an illusion. Yes source wants us to meditate and all that, but wants us to be FULLY creative in every way possible. It wants us to learn as much as we can and expand. The concepts he's speaking of is some man-made version. It's not what True source is guiding me to do. We are only in this body for a short number of years compared to all the time we will be spirit. Source/God wants us to have exploring humanhood!!! 🕉☯️☮💙

Most desires tend to just fall away of their own accord as does egoic seeking for permanent happiness or satisfaction in the world when you Awaken to True Nature, ( along with the rising of kundalini. ) Until then do what you can to cultivate Presence and let go of attachments. I have transversed this and it is possible to transcend ego entirely. It feels like Shunyamurti is trying to put across the urgency of the time we are in, and I can understand this is so. Yet noone can force Awakening to happen. Be open and help to make it more likely by continually cultivating Presence by Quieting the mind. In Stillness. Namaste.

Ego is not your humanity :) its the source of all suffering ... And you can still do all the things that you mentioned in your comment and even better because you will be in state of bliss and pure love for every thing and you wont suffer from your thoughts or curcomstances or anything :) transend the ego and only true you will stay and of course your humanity will also stat for this life or next :)

@@Gaurinathan I could very easily sell everything I own and go into monkhood but I choose not to because I do not resonate with that. But yes I have reached peace levels in which I could just sit perfectly still all day long and meditate but that's not living. That's not the life I want to live. This is my last lifetime on earth and I am making it count. I do not wish to return. I want to be expressive and enjoy dancing and music and eating and singing and playing with animals and helping people. This self died and came back and I am perfectly fine with rejoining the source at a later date but for now I want to enjoy this gift of life I was given. A person can reach enlightenment and yet still enjoy humanhood. Thank u for your kind words. Everyone is on their own unique path, none look the same exactly. Namaste!!

@@MatejLikar yes I have been enjoying being closer to spirit because it does lighten the load quite a lot. But I also have to embrace the pain of this life. I do not want to leave anything undone. I am hoping this is my last earthly incarnation. I'm both working hard and learning to let go. It's all about balance.

How does this teaching relate to the last one though? The last one was saying everyone will experience god- like consciousness with the upcoming changes in society. Its feel contradictory.. 'do the work's is a completely different message again.

4 minutes in I kinda disagree. People are trying hard to understand the objective reality. Everyone from scholars, laymen to priests and swami's. I love these teachings but makes you wonder with so many religions conspiracys etc...people are trying to learn to bigger picture.
