🎥 IN THIS EPISODE → Join us for a trip to Bristol TN/VA as we visit The Burger Bar. The Original Burger Bar located in downtown Bristol, Va/Tn has been a classic diner since 1942. Famously known as the last place Hank Williams, Sr. was seen. We also visited the Blackbird Bakery known for made-from-scratch delicious offerings, from doughnuts to specialty coffee to cakes and more! Stopping by the iconic Bristol Tn/Va sign with lots of history as well as the Train Station with even more history. Also, walking the the street to the Birthplace of Country Music.

My husband and I just visited Bristol in October from Akron, OH. We stayed at the Bristol Hotel and really enjoyed it. On a side note, when you stay at the hotel they give you free tickets to the BIrthplace of Country Music Museum! The hotel also has a great restaurant and a rooftop bar with great views of the city. Bristol is a great place to visit, baby!!

Wow , I did not realize Bristol was such a cute quaint town and so much full of History... I also did not know that story about Hank Williams Sr. that was so sad..Love that Bristol sign and the food looked amazingly delicious.. Thanks for taking us along with you... Thank you for another great video. Because of your video my husband and I plan to stay in Bristol on our way home from Sevierville,TN this summer. I know we will be trying Blackbird Bakery. This was such a nice video.. when you and Karen were walking you have such a beautiful background of the sky turning dark and the lights of the stores it really was a nice opening and I know it wasn't planned but it was beautiful... also when you were showing the different businesses and the old buildings and the movie theater... it reminded me of the movie it's wonderful life... I like when you stopped in to have a bite to eat I also like when Karen went shopping I like the campfire and the talk also.. you make really nice videos.. there's a relaxing feeling to it all and I see places that I know I'll never visit.. so I thank you and keep safe and enjoy this time in your life... take care

We just went through Bristol last Monday, went to Sieverville for a week. We had a few days of rain, but still was able to go to the Smoky Mountains. We also got to see the Winter lights all around the area. Ate at the Old Mill a couple of times and the Local Goat a couple of times. Food was so fresh and delicious at the Local Goat, everything is home made, including the ketchup.

I have been to Bristol Speedway 2 times to the night race but never been to the town. What a beautiful town. The hamburger and cheesecake looked amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I love anything history, and Bristol has alot of history. Yall are such an amazing couple.

For many years a friend and I would come to Bristol Motor Speedway for the night race in August. We would make a long weekend out of it, stay in Gatlinburg and drive over to the race. I remember seeing the sign. Now I wish we could have spent some time in Bristol. Looks like a nice place with lots of things to do. Hope to get there someday. There is a museum for Hank Williams Jr plus his grave in Montgomery Alabama if your interested. We went a few years ago and both locations were very interesting.

Great adventure. Really liked the after hours tour of the various historical building, restaurants and signs. Makes me want to visit there. It's less than two hours from my home in Seymour TN. I'm about 23 minutes west of Pidgeon Forge off US 441 (Chapman/Henley and many other names).

Blackbird Bakery has NOTHING to do with Hank Williams SR. As a matter of fact Blackbird Bakery was not even in business in 1953. So I don't know why that Blackbird Bakery is even mentioned
