Was introduced to this song by my former tutor, (thanks). The lyric gave me food for thought, it tells me that we are powerful a African nation, the salt of the earth, we should never give up the fight to achieve our aspirations despite the obstacles we face, keep marching forward, but remember not to hurt anyone as you move forward because it will come back and bit you in the butt, etc.

@@MSYNGWIE12Tupac is a rap artist I'd recommend, if I may. His early catalog was heavy on revolutionary philosophy due to his upbringing around the Black Panthers, and a lot of his music has a conscious tone to it. A few personal favorites I'd suggest are "Brenda's Got A Baby", "Holler If You Hear Me", "Dear Mama", and "So Many Tears." You might not become a fan (which is perfectly fine), but it seems you may be open-minded enough to appreciate some of his artistry.
