Kevin eastman sold his share of the turtles rights out to Peter along time ago only doing the real darkest tmnt series "bodycount" and over seeing haim saban's next mutation ninja turtles cartoon, kevin went on with his family to start his failed comic company tundra that briefly published madmen and the crow that image comics and dark horse comics bought all his titles off him and kevin briefly owned heavy metal magazine and did an inferior sequel to the heavy metal movie and story line. So of course he's opened to milk the tmnt once nick viacom rehired him on his own comic and he's only doing the 87 cartoon and the old notes he claims they made in early mirage is just an outline from old wounds in plastron cafe where donatellos the last ninja turtle

​@@khamla616 volume 4 kevin was never apart of most the story's in vol 4 and tales of the tmnt vol2 isn't apart of peter lairds grand design and he doesn't consider most story's introduced in vol4 as canon because mirage staff Steve Lavigne Eric talbot ac Farley Michael dooney Ross aka sophie Campbell took over the books and we have a fan graphic novel conclusion to that universe in tmnt odyssey and tmnt origin

Comic con isn't just about movie reveales second its a writers strike in Hollywood so movie projects are on hold, comic con isn't E3 or cinema con is all about upcoming comics rare item hunting cosplay showcasing art work and collectors item toy reveals first and foremost celebritiy guest, movies and video game reveals and panels is optional and secondary
