Mike Bickle’s last sermon, given days before the sexual abuse allegations against him were made public. ‪@IHOPkc‬ has tried to scrub this from the Internet, just like they’ve tried to hide so much about this whole affair, for obvious reasons. It’s a masterclass on spiritual abuse.
The whole sermon is still available on ‪@sermonindex‬, but since it’s almost 2 hours long I thought it would be worth making a shorter version with all the meandering asides cut out.

I have sat through so many hyper spiritualized, nonsensical sermons if we can call them that like this one too many times. It’s taken more than a decade for the Lord, to help me with all the scriptural and leader ship abuse that I experienced and watched others experience. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our only savior, and our only hope now and forever more! Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and his gospel is the prophetic word.

Yes, I believe there are millions who are deceived by very powerful and influential speakers like Bickle. Religious leaders like him swear they're not religious at all, but deep into a spiritual relationship with God. But the ones that truly are, don't have to boast about it to the world.

When I had to confront my abusive senior pastor through the eldership, my friend who was trying to help but feeling fearful said .. "are you sure we are not being Absolom at the gates?" 😢... And I said "No! I've seen the abuse and where scripturally are we told not to confront abuse? Where do church leaders get a free pass to hurt congregations?" ... Well let me tell you, it took 18 months .. and 6 months of me pulling away to rest my health from the saga.. but that senior pastor was not only removed from his position but he lost his credentials and his wife divorced him. I do not gloat, I simply say we can absolutely 100% report abusive leadership and I would do it again.

He has always likened himself to David and is so off like so much of his teachings. Hence, we left before the kool aid was served...

The more haughty the pastor is, the more susceptible he is to falling into sexual sin. Sometimes, success goes to one’s head. I’ve seen it many times before, even in my own church. Don’t follow people; follow God, follow Jesus.

There are pre-emptive betrayal strikes by partners in marriage more often than not that cause pain and tragedy beyond non-prophetic mambo-jumbo . This is not prophetic anything. You may have a “david complex.” The mess thusly requires serious “David-esque” repentance and confession before the Lord w tremendous humility. Try to pursue tears vs pride. God will hold your tears in a bottle. But your pride will cause a Goliath-like fall…

Wow, he sure was setting the stage. I've been in a situation where a pastor who was being confronted reminded me that David did not kill Saul when he had a chance. The old touch not God's anointed sermon. These guys are narcissists. They believe they are untouchable. He knew when he preached this he was about to be exposed. I've sat through sermons like this. A pastor I knew used to use things people said to him against them in his sermons and this sounds exactly what Mike Bickle is doing. He's setting up a case against anyone who would dare come against "the man of God", "the man after God's own heart." Lordy Lord. He's got a lot to fess up to on judgment day.

Was he confronted about a misusage of funds or on other areas 3 years ago which led him to step down? Saying he has a 2007 vehicle seems like he is trying to cover something up? Why is he saying that? If he was spending money on trips, lodging and meals on young females that would’ve and should’ve been seen in their accounting and bookkeeping. Why does he see himself as David and his mistresses as Bathsheba?

I have never enjoyed listening to Mike Bickle. When I first heard him my daughter listened to him all the time, I truly felt uncomfortable in my spirit. This would have been 18 years ago. I never once felt the Holy Spirit of God was on this man. I truly believe he carries something very demonic. Mike Bickle you need a Deliverance. He said some good things in this sermon. The most important of which, is "bless those that curse you" Granted he MAY have had self serving motives in speaking it but the truth of it is a kingdom principle.However, I struggle with all of the "God told me" claims that seem rooted in ego

Don’t judge? That’s not what god calls us to do. John 7:24. We need to expose the deeds of darkness. Think of it both from Bickle’s perspective and also Jane Doe’s. Is it loving to withhold justice from him or from her? Why do you say he is a godly man if we don’t know all the truth yet like you said? He was fired, Greaves and Sliker, his right hang men left, and all the rest of the former ELT testify to knowing and trusting the Jane Doe so much so that they now testify that they believe Mike Bickle is guilty of all she claimed. Stop defending him wrongfully.

He who is without sin cast the first stone. Looks like we have a lot of sinless people on here What Mike did was wrong, but it happened over 20 years ago before before his ministry IHOPKC. And he repented. It was one incident. And the person that it had happened to, is walking in forgiveness for Mike. This is not who Mike is today. I'm going to miss his sermons and his heart. David had an affair and then had the husband killed yet he was called a man after God's Own Heart. Mike Bickle is a man after God's Own Heart as well. Love you Mike and praying for you and your family, and I pray that God will restore you back to IHOPKC

Hey, sister. Just want to share a few things that I believe are really important for us as believers to understand as it pertains to what you’ve said here. This is not the correct context for those scriptures you’re referencing. The woman that was caught in adultery was not a born-again believer yet. She was a sinner at the hands of other sinners that *thought* they knew God (hypocrites). Specifically with the woman, Jesus intervened on her behalf, revealed Himself to us in His words to her and He proceeded to tell her to go and sin no more. Some people may have hateful motives, but MOST people are not throwing stones, they are calling for biblical accountability where there has been none. And with David, again, He was not born-again. The new covenant that we take part in through faith in Christ is a greater covenant than the old, and there are explicit commands for and requirements of eldership within the Body of Christ. Paul said that we are not to judge those on the outside, but to actually be spiritually mature enough to rightly and righteously judge those on the inside. Please read what the Word says about church discipline. And to add this- unless you know Mike personally, witness his life behind closed doors, know how he treats his wife and family when no one is looking, know whether or not his own household is in order, etc, please do not make claims on who he is or endorse his heart. In fact, don’t do that for anyone unless you truly and transparently know them. We don’t have to be suspicious or cynical about anyone, but we also don’t have to blindly follow and endorse people just because they *say* they spend time alone with God. And we also must know what true, biblical repentance looks like, and true repentance has not come from him yet.

@@RiverAtchisonoh we know Mike’s heart. We see his fruits and they are rotten. This isn’t a one time thing or even a two time thing. This is an entire lifetime of being a ravenous wolf fleecing the flock. Except the flock are mostly goats and a few sheep that will need years of therapy to maybe someday slightly recover in this lifetime. This man is dead in his sins.
