I'm always really fascinated when I watch Alex in Interviews, I mean here he seems really high on drugs or something how he looks and moves but the things he actually says are quite normal and cool. "We don't have the intellectual capacity to write a novel together" I mean that was a very good answer for someone who looks like he's way out of it.. I'm confused

Everyone wants to be able to say their life is harder and northerners project this weird sentiment more than anyone

A lot of that has to do with Thatcher, but in general there’s a ‘thick northerner’ narrative from down south but also a lot of it is humour too. I was born in Yorkshire and a lot of our humour is making things seem worse than they are for comedic affect. Not everyone gets that outside of the north.

What I've noticed is though, it feels like he changes his image a little everytime he gets a new girlfriend. It makes sense, but it is interesting.
